Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Two words, Tino. Ring Positioning. after you hit a finisher or other big move you can basically move your oppoent where you want to by walking against him. C-Bacon: That's Charlie from SF Alpha. He was called Nash in the Japanese SF Zero. And that Nash would destroy Kevin Nash. Prototype: I like DDTing them onto chairs but they should factor into big time moves and finishers, sure.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted July 25, 2003 The two most annoying things in SYM: If you hit your finisher or another big move, your opponent will usually lay on the mat for a while and then get up slowly, selling fatigue. That's fine and dandy. BUT if you cover him and it gets only two or Rope Break, he IMMEDIATELY gets up like nothing happened. That's just a stupid flaw in the game's engine. And the fact that you can't break submission holds in tag matches. The only thing you can do is to attack the referee. That's just wrong. How about we ELIMINATE THE REFEREE ALTOGETHER?! I can't get over the amount of times that EARL FUCKING HEBNER has caused me to screw up because he conviniently got in the way of one of my big moves. The ref is a TOTAL waste of time and a complete and utter annoyance that hinders gameplay. Sometimes I become so frustrated that I just call my brother in to take care of my opponent in a handicap match while I proceed to rip Hebner's body to pieces via a Benoit special. Fuck you, Earl. You too, Dave. M I agree. He is always getting in my way. But at the same time, I like having a ref in there. Just keep him out of the way.
Guest Prototype450 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 I actually had an evil twin situation during a 3 stages of hell match. As soon as the second match started, Earl hebner split into another earl hebner, so me and my brother just called them earl and dave. Only problem is that when you pin someone they take forever to count the pin. But I was Triple H, both refs were down to count for me. My poor brother had to wait for one ref to count to one then the other counted to three.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2003 The selling is fine... someone selling, say, a body slam, arches his back and puts his hand back there, usually allowing you to get a few extra stomps or an elbow drop in, inflicting more damage. What they need to understand is that if, say, RVD takes a Pedigree, then it is insulting to our intelligence to have him nip up seconds later and race around as though he hasn't been touched. Fatigue and damage to a wrestler need to be taken into greater consideration in HCTP. Hopefully, it will. $M$ if you do a finisher too soon, of course the opponent is going to kick out and recover. I don't do a finisher in a match until I *know* that my opponent is laid out by my offense. You do a finisher too early the opponent is going to kick out and the match will continue. Timing and tactics, my friend, timing and tactics. Something else is when you use holds on a body part consistently through a match (especially the legs), it will affect them in the later stages of a match, selling the part that has been worked over. I agree that fatigue should be more of a factor, though, but that is a tricky concept to execute in a game properly, even on modern day systems.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted July 26, 2003 Nash would totally own Nash. Nash would hit Nash with a Sonic Boom(or as he says "Swawnik booo") and pin him in like seconds. "Toooo easy".
