This World Title feud is giving me a headache

You know, at this point, I just have to sit back and laugh at how increasingly badly they are booking this Angle/Lesnar feud.

 

Granted, every single week since Kurt's return has been BAD, but NOTHING even APPROACHES this week.

 

What in the name of all hell went on tonight?

 

What were those skits supposed to accomplish? Are they in some kind of relationship?

 

And how is any of that selling Vengeance to anyone?

 

After all that the video promo accomplished, this "crack" writing team has successfully made Angle the idiot dork buffoon AGAIN. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

 

And I don't even know where to begin on what they've done to Brock. What happened to the bad ass? What happened to the monster?

 

We could have built this match as a huge Mania rematch with a "both are at 100%" feel.

 

If tonight is any indication, it's going to be a lover's quarrel!

 

It really is kind of funny, in a not funny way.

Yes but the difference is that Hogan and Savage looked like credible draws, were getting good air time, and were ruling everything. The writers booked it so that Hogan and Savage were the top dogs, and as a result Wrestlemania 5 HAD to be about them because they were booked to be the best. Angle and Lesnar are in a dead feud, and they don't really have anything to fight over, like an Elizabeth, except a deflated title that is teetering on the edge of respectability. When did the main title become a secondary feud? It should be about the two best (or at least about the two percieved to be the best). Right now these two are playing second fiddle to an underachiever, a kid who has wrestled one match, the owner, and his daughter.

Stephanie thanks for their Assisstance last week with Zach...She regrets to inform that she is unable to remove TBS from the Title Match...

 

Lesnar slightly Groans...and Angle cuts a look and shake his head and gets up and shakes Stephanie's Hand and Notions for Lesnar to get up. He does.

 

A little Later...They are in the locker room and they talk about stradegy a little when TBDTTP walks in after winning a tag match against Rikishi and Gunn (Random Tag Partners) and Haas gets in Angle's face

 

"Looks like we didn't need you Kurt..."

 

Angle shrugs and chuckles as Benjamin chair shots Lesnar and they run off...Angle kneels to Lesnar and checks on him...

 

Angle is booked that night against THE BIG SHOW but TBSTTP interfere and that leads to chaos...Lesnar makes the Save...

 

Stephanie arrives and Announces a HUGE MAIN EVENT for next week

 

Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle Vs Haas and Benjamin for the WWE Tag Team Titles...in a CAGE MATCH!

 

TBS lays out Lesnar and Angle with double CSlams.

 

 

Next week...

 

TBS is BARRED from ringside...

 

Angle and Lesnar do some training techs with each other showing an slightly irritated Lesnar and slowly hints at tension...

 

The match starts and it's a straight up tag for about 10 minutes...Lesnar gets the hot tag and apefucks TBDTTP (it's Pinfall counts rules)...

 

Lesnar F5's them but his ribs give out...Angle catches on and keeps Haas Down as Lesnar wrives in pain in the corner...Making Angle fight alone...HAAS and Benjamin strike and kill angle...

 

Lesnar tries to make the comeback but fails to execute the F5 and Haas gets a roll up on Lesnar for the win...

 

The Next week...

 

Angle is sitting down reading a Magazine as Lesnar arrives taped ribs and all..

 

Angle stands up...and they stare down...

 

Angle blinks first "How are your Ribs?"

 

Lesnar: Good...Little Sore...

 

Angle: U gonna be able wrestle at Vengence?

 

Lesnar: I'll be fine to go...Ya would like that wouldn't ya?

 

Angle: What's that mean?

 

Lesnar: U would just LOVE to see me miss the match at Vengence wouldn't ya?

 

Angle: No...I was just asking because I was concerned is all...

 

Lesnar: Yeah...I'm sorry...I was thinking...

 

Angle: I understand...

 

(Stephanie enters)

 

Lesnar: Yes?

 

Stephanie: I have bad news Brock...Unfountantly...

 

Lesnar: What?

 

Stephanie: Ya were booked in an Match tonight by Sable...against Shelton Benjamin

 

Lesnar: What? I can't wrestle Tonight

 

Stephanie: I'm sorry brock...

 

Kurt: Wait...I'll wrestle Benjamin...Teach him a less anyways...

 

Lesnar: Kurt...No

 

Stephanie: No...Brock...that's a good Idea kurt...

 

(Lesnar isn't happy and walks to the shower)

 

Main event time...

 

Kurt and Shelton wrestle for 10 minutes as Haas runs in for the DQ and Kurt Fights him off but TBS is there to attack Angle...Lesnar limps down the the aisle and clotheslines out TBDTTP and goes for the the F5 but ribs give out again...TBS goes to CS Lesnar but Angle loblows Show and hits the Angle Slam...

 

Angle Celebrates as Lesnar sits in Pain in the corner eyeing Angle.....

 

Next week...

 

The week before Vengence...

 

They do a segment where Stephanie enters the room with a Doctor and orders Lesnar to be examined...

 

Brock hesitakes but obliges...

 

Angle has a No DQ main against Show for the Main event...

 

just later in the show...Lesnar Passes the EXAM but is STRONGLY advised not to compete sunday...Lesnar throws the doctor to the wall and yells "YOU DON'T TELL ME WHEN I WRESTLE!"

 

TBS is ready to be pinned by Angle...When Lesnar arrives and lays out TBS with a Chair and Angle gets pissy and they start shoving...

 

TBS catches Angle and SHOKESLAMS him onto the chair...Lesnar F5's TBS but suffers a pain and moans in agony as the show fades with all three men down...

 

PPV TIME

 

The Match is All out match...Lesnar can't perform his power moves so he resorts to the mat...TBS dominates Lesnar when He can...Angle works TBS.

 

The finish comes down when TBDTTP try to interfer but Angle chases them off...Lesnar gets Chokeslammed onto a Chair...

 

Angle retreats to the ring and blocks a Chokeslam and whips the Big Show to the ropes and sets up for the Top rope Angle Slam...

 

He hits it but is out...Lesnar rolls over and drapes his arm over TBS for the win...

 

Lesnar is exhusted to get up...Angle is revived and realizes what happened...

 

as Lesnar sits in the corner...Angle protests and He calms down and extends his hand to Lesnar and pulls him up and raises his hand in victory...

 

This leads us to Summer Slam for the Face/Face showdown where Lesnar turns heel thanks to the returning Paul Heyman...Leading to the LONG Journey to Mania...
