How would you take the Milktruck as something that made him a "dork"...when he did the EXACT same thing the ULTRA bad ass Austin did just 2 years before which also showed his cleverness in mocking Austin like that. What's the difference when the common guy drinks a Beer with his buddy? He drinks Milk is all... ... IT'S FUCKING MILK!

They were soooo friendly, it was like out of a really cheesy sitcom. Beer = badass, adult, macho. Milk = dorky. The milk drinking makes him seem like an over the top goody babyface dork. It's not like he just drinks milk because he likes it, they've established that he is a nerd for drinking it in te past.

I have never been able to take him seriously. He was a terrible "monster". The babyface and his goofy dance kill his intensity.

Does that mean you think that this current stuff won't sell? Because I'm not getting how this is going to sell the PPV, especially now when it's essentially carrying the build of it now that Zach Gowan's debut match is already in the books. I also don't foresee a Lesnar turn, not when they've clearly established that Lesnar #1, Angle #2. I may be wrong on that but I doubt it. I also am not getting the Mega Powers comparison at all, unless I missed Hogan and Savage playing pranks on each other. They were fighting off big bad heels like Andre and DiBiase and not fighting for the attention of a stagehand. And speaking of, it amused me how the spoilers made it sound like Angle was hitting on her. I guess it's because Angle actually spoke to a woman.

Lil' Bitch Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 It was clearly showing these two guys hanging out as friends do...Eating and drinking and making fun of each other and fighting over the attention over a girl... That's perfectly normal. Even if it wasn't gay...the acting and the writing still sucked. Like they kept saying "she was talking", "no, she meant me" for what seemed like a hour. It was all really hokey and unnatural. Seemed natural to me. Does anyone really talk like that? I think so. I am much more worried for Lesnar than Kurt. Kurt is still basically playing the same character he always has (super-talented but a nerd). Brock's "Baddest man on the planet" thing has basically gone out the window. He is always grinning, and sticking up for the little guy against the bully (Show). I hate Lesnar as a face. He needs to go back to being the unstoppable monster. Its why people liked him in the first place. The REAL Brock Lesnar character would have never came out to help Rey Mysterio. Period. What's the difference when the common guy drinks a Beer with his buddy? Of course, Angle is going to drink milk. It WOULDN'T be Kurt Angle if he wasn't drinking milk. If you remember back in 2000, he didn't like drinking beer, couldn't even stand a sip of it. I'm pretty Kurt in real life doesn't drink beer either.

Lesnar growing paranoid and playing Savage requires him to have a personality and mic skills. So scratch that idea.
