Because each and everything that comes our way is crap. Wrestlemania X-7 was the last time it was great. Austin/Rock owned. Then the build to Backlash started and it died. I point to Survivor Series 2000 for when WWE jumped the shark. The night Steph took over as head writer and the night they did that horrible angle Austin killing Crips.

Not only does it set him apart but it agrees with his charactor. He's an elite athelete who takes pride in his craft and wants to be the best ever. Drinking beer and becoming an acholic is not going to help him obtain that goal. The milk represents his dedication to a clean diet which helps keep him in shape so that he can be the best that he can be. The WWE haven't really concentrated on the milk being a dork drink lately (which in reality is really a drink more for badass, aldut, macho people while beer is for dorks) so it's okay.

Lesnar growing paranoid and playing Savage requires him to have a personality and mic skills. So scratch that idea. You could do it with Angle but what would he be paranoid about? YOU COULD work that he's afraid of Lesnar breaking his neck again but it wouldn't work as well as Lesnar being paranoid bout losing the title to Angle...knowing he only lost cuz of a broken neck

(1997 I am refering to) Nah, if the net' was as big then as it was now I'd bet most would be saying "Bret is old. Past his prime. Holding down new and younger talent. Had his run. Can't draw. Uses his family to stay over, etc."

While I agree with you there...We've been trained (and not just by WWE mind you) that REAL MEN drink and kiddies drink Milk.

Brock won, they showed sportsmanship at the end (something I hadn't seen since WM VI). People liked that, people like Kurt so Kurt comes back, he's cheered along with the fact he had been gone since WM. I don't mind the friendship angle, but with AS bitching about everything, how could you make it "better" ? What would you do? Also take in mind, Heyman's out of the picture, Train/Show split up, and Team Angle in no longer.

You're giving the average viewer far too much credit to be able to do that. It's not really an issue, because neither Angle or Lesnar draw anyway. Nobody really does in WWE. Yeah, I mean more people watch a one-legged guy, and said amputee is the focus of the show, not the two who are supposed to be the saviors of the Smackdown brand. Can't get more fucked up than that.

Rock and Austin didn't act like idiots. People expected The Rock to turn heel then. The card was all around built better. It was WM which will usually draw well on it's own and Lesnar & Angle aren't near the draws Austin and Rock were.
