One of the things I like about TSM is the fact that there are usually more people here, so it's easier to go back and forth with people. At least when you're on UK time.

I admittedly don't know a lot about WDI, so I didn't care to look through it. I just don't understand the myth of how "it's so much better than TSM". Wrestling sucks these days, so I don't really feel the need to post about it. Besides, I STILL didn't find that many good discussions there, but if you feel that they're good enough for you, that's great. Just don't try to make me believe you because it's obvious that we have different opinions and that won't change. But yeah, the MMA discussion is better here as well.

I SAID that WDI's folder wasn't great by any means. I stated that I didn't see why TSM's music folder was that much better. Looked like pretty much the same stuff to me. How about reading before you continue to talk out of your ass?

 

And I can't tell you how old that "if you like the other one better than just post there" line is. It's really quite played. That's like telling someone to leave America because they don't like everything about it. So you're saying if I like one board more than another, I should only post there? That's retarded. It's true that I post occasionally at WDI and that's because I know most of the guys there from the old EZBoard days and the wrestling convos are pretty damn good. This place has it's pros, WDI has it's pros. This place has it's cons (some very whiny people, for one) and WDI has it's cons. Same reason I stopped at wdi after a couple weeks. There were huge gaps in any discussion... plus I don't watch wrestling so a better folder isn't an incentive.

::shrug:: I'd post at WDI's music board if it got any sort of decent traffic. Sometimes you get crap on the TSM music board, but at least it's always active. It seems rare for the WDI music board to have more than 3 or 4 topics getting any traffic per day, and there's not much in them either.

 

Which isn't to slight any content that's there. I prefer the TSM busybusyboard though, especially in a topic like music where my main goal is to find out about stuff I don't know and discuss a bunch. Enough variety for me, and a fair amount of well-informed, fun writers.

I don't see how TSM's music folder is better. I'm not crazy about WDI's, but TSM's music folder is so one-dimensional. Nothing but rock threads. WDI's ain't much, but you don't have much room to talk.

Yes, and shockingly enough, I rarely post in any of those threads. I enjoy the Old School, Movies, Literature, and CE folders (although I don't post much in there since getting in-depth with CE just isn't my thing). I post in those folders and rarely any other ones. It's not like I'm in every folder I don't like complaining about how much it sucks, so I don't see how I'm being cynical. I don't like it, I leave it alone.

Goodness gracious, no. I believe the general TSM opinion is that he's a complete dickface. Sort of like the dorky zit-faced kid who gets slapped around when anyone notices him, so he tries to start shit with anyone who looks new or vulnerable in an attempt to divert the attention of the pack.
