I didn't post at WDI for a long time, mainly because I felt the board had become too cliquish and silly.  I'd seen many a good thread ruined by people posting childish antics and "You eat p00p" jokes.  Recently, I got the link and took a look at the "new" WDI, finally free of EZBoard.  It looked a lot better than the old one, both in terms of board appearance and content, so I signed up and started posting again.  All it's ever been is an alternative to TSM, mainly used by the core posters of the old Smarks EZBoard.  Anyone who sees a board war here should stop eating the fucking 'shrooms.

 

One thing, though...

The only thing WDI lacks is A current Events board.

This is something that should change.

Hate to beat a dead horse or seem like a glory hound but YES IT WAS ME WHO REQUESTED DR. TOM's presence at the "new" WDI. Thank me and bow down. Tom does everything I say: write badly for TSM, talk to me on AIM, drive to Baltimore in the rain, and now post at WDI. Well, not really. I left WDI for the same reasons Tom did; too many in-jokes and not enough "content" (and was subsequently banned afterwards for making my reasons for leaving known in none too polite a fashion.) In the meantime I started the uber-scary and content-heavy SNKT.

 

Anyhoo...there's a CE folder there now and as long as Tom isn't a mod there, it's all good.

 

WDI: Work with them and they'll work with you (unless one or two of them hate you and hold a grudge). I got a PORNO folder without even asking and business is BOOOOOMIN'.

Well, this thread was ten minutes of my life I'll never get back.

 

I really do need to make a habit of popping into WDI more often, but at the risk of sounding like the terminal slacker I am...it's so much effort to check two boards! Ay ya...hmmm, maybe I should put WDI as my homepage now that I don't have one. That'd do the trick.

 

Oh yea, that, and I never really thought I had enough to say to stretch over two boards. What's the point of repeating myself? I mean I already do it in half the threads here. What's the point of repeating myself?

i take exception to this comment. actually, wdi discussion on wrestling is more lively, thought provoking and critical than much of the content in our wrestling folders. some of the cliquish shit in general chat or faintly smoldering gets tiresome but in no way is the discussion at wdi (regarding wrestling or wwe) inferior to this board.
