Jim Ross' comment about Hillary Clinton

I'm sure many people noticed this. During Raw, Ross took a verbal shot at her. My question is this: why? Has Hillary said something about wrestling in the past or something? What does Ross have against her?

Probably just Ross saying something he thinks is clever. I hate the woman myself, but I didn't get a snicker out of it or anything.

What did he say?

I hate her too, myself.

I remember in one of Jesse Ventura's books he said during his campaign to be Governor, Hillary campaigned for one of his oppoenents saying something to the affect of "don't vote for the circus" or "sideshow" or something pretty below the belt.

Ventura seemed pretty alright with it later in the book when he went to a White House function.

Point being, maybe she has a history of attacking pro wrestling?

I dunno. But she has a history of being a lying bitch.

It was something really stupid that JR said. I think he was just trying to sound cool

It's probably just the WWE trying to to be hip by latching onto current events again, only much like La Resistance and the French hate it's well past the time anyone last gave a shit.

He said something to the effect of "That sounds about as ingenuous as Hillary Clinton"

And hey, they've made a point of lying so often that it's become an experession. Like "She gave me a Monica"

there is a simple answer.

the McMahons are Republicans...no secret..

they did alot of skits against the Clintons over the years

having the look alike at WM10 getting payoffs by Ted Dibiasi and IRS, to having Jennifer Flowers interview the Rock.

The McMahons are Republicans, but plenty of Democrats hate Hillary too.

If the McMahons are Republicans-

How in the BLUE HELL there not like ROH?

Something Tells me that they hate the Clintons just to hate them-that is not a bad thing...

You think now Fox and The Brand would be a nice fit if Viacom gives them a lesser deal?

This is the same company who had Jerry Lawler say on the air that he was voting for George W. Bush

Vince may be a Republican, but I don't see him as much of a conservative. After all, he's been attacked by every ultra-right group there is.

I didn't see a problem with what JR said.

Were your panties in a bunch when Nowinski claimed we were only attacking countries for oil?

Besides, I hate Hillary.

The only reason to buy that rag she calls a book is to see if she dies at the end.

It didn't have much to do with wrestling. It was way outta right field.

That whole faux debate was total crap. I hated every moment of it.

Besides, I hate Hillary.

Why, exactly? I'm not defending her or anything, just asking why.

You SO stole that line from Chris Jericho. That's exactly what he said to Mick Foley.

Pick, pick, pick, pick.

Hey guys, the way that Ric Flair looked at that fan, UGH, that was just uncalled for damnit.

And for the record, if there is one line that was said yesterday to be upset about was the line Lawler said about some women deserving sexual harrassment. That was disgusting.

Vince is probably a Republican because that political group is pro-business and pro-wealthy.

I stole that line from the Jericho quote in, I believe, your sig. (I have them turned off)

Did you start a thread on how uncalled for Nowinski's comments were?

I think that goes without saying.

My computer was being fixed when it happened. Besides, the debate was slanted so that Steiner's comments would be perceived as the "correct" ones. Comments by both individuals wer uncalled for. As was the entire "debate."

Christ, JMA, did you really feel the need to create an entire thread about this?!?!?!

If any of you believe the JR was INSTRUCTED to make that remark because Vince is some sort of conservative Republican Hillary-basher, than I feel incredibly sorry for you.

JR made that little attack on Hillary because it's INSANELY EASY to attack Hillary Clinton, ESPECIALLY given her trustworthiness in telling the truth.

Even some of the staunchest liberals and Clinton apologists don't exactly find the facts as Hillary states them in her book to be completely on the level.

So if JR makes some sort of stupid remark about someone being as 'diningenious as Hillary Clinton', why get your panties in a bunch over it?

WWE is awfully two-faced and borderline racist depending on who's booking (those HHH promos raised the hair on the back of my neck, but he dropped the gimmick afterwards and all in all it wasn't as bad as Russo's GANGWARZ angle.)

They will just follow the trend of whatever is popular, it seems. A tag team parodying flaming gay men one month, Jeff Hardy getting pushed the very next.

I don't think anyone is saying that. I know I'm not.

Would you mind giving more info about this? I'm not being smarmy, I really don't know much about Hillary's reputation of dishonesty.

Even some of the staunchest liberals and Clinton apologists don't exactly find the facts as Hillary states them in her book to be completely on the level.

I just lean left myself. I have no intentions of reading her book, either. It just doesn't interest me.

I just wanted to know why he said it. That's all. No biggie.

Well I will tell you why he said it. BECAUSE VINCE TOLD HIM TO AND HE DOES WHAT VINCE SAYS. There happy now?

Yes. Thank you. :)
