Any word on which show he will be on? RVD needs somebody new to play with on Raw.

The thought of seeing Paul London vs Jamie Noble almost gives me a little hope, but the fact that match would only get like 4 minutes quickly dampens that hope.

Here's hoping we all enter some parallel dimension where Vince likes cruisers and doesn't push people based on size before London arrives.

He's still working the Jersey show!! I get to see London's last match!!!

I don't think London took a pay cut at all- He's probably making more working WWE. And this time he has a guaranteed contract

Well first of all he's not in WWE right away, he's in OVW.

I'm not saying I don't trust talent evaluators in the WWE...

...

...

...

...

But let's just say I don't think they can tell the difference between London and Nova since their both the same size...and Nova's been down there for over a year.

It could be quite a while before we even see London again once he gets down there.

Obviosly he's more talented than that...but you can't tell me it isn't at least possible that they'll forget about him.

Wow I can't say I'm surprised but more so sad that I won't see him in ROH and TNA. I wish him the best of the luck in the WWE.

By the way, WWE is letting him work ROH on July 19th. That will be his last performance with the company.

It's a developmental contract not a WWE contract.

No way he makes more.

This is one of the most dissappointing things I have read in a long time. Not that I don't want London to make money and hopefully "make it", but I am just selfish and I know I will hate it when he is wrestling on Volocity or heat every week. Like someone else on the board said, I will just miss the American Dragon/London classics in ROH and it won't be the same with him in the wwe.

This is very disappointing since TNA said he might have been on next week. and that I'll have to catch him in 3 minute Velocity matches.

Does this mean no more SSP? AJ Styles did one in WCW and Kidman was all pissy about it.

How is it dissapointing that a man is getting to live his dream that he worked his ASS off for.

I would think that WWE guys get more injured than Indy kids because Indy kids work less shows?

I've always gotten the impression that it's th 4 shows a week that leads to the body stress that leads to the constant injuries and drug abuse?

I've always though that if they cut their schedule in half they'd have less injuries.

I didn't hear Kidman complaining when Brock Lesnar did it. I hope they let him do the London Calling- Kidman can go fuck himself if he doesn't like it.

Astro, BROCK FUCKIN LESNAR did an SSP. I don't think Kidman is gonna whine about it. Plus, Lesnar would probably care less if London wanted to do it, anyways...

It's dissapointing for us (me and the other people that say that) since although we're happy for London, we're sad that his great matches are either behind him or soon to be few and far between.

The rules aren't suddenly going to change in the WWE just because we really like London and want to see the cruisers get time.

I just can't be too upset about it. The thought of my favourite indy wrestler making it to the big league makes me so happy that I cannot get upset about it.

Coincidentally, Jim Cornette will be at ROH's August 9th show- so London might not be done in Ring of Honor quite yet.

It would be a sad effort to try and list the wrestlers that the WWE style has crippled.

I for one would like to mention Tajiri and Spanky.

True about Brock, forgot about him. But it was like a one time thing and was Wrestlemania. But I dunno if they'll let two wrestlers use the same finisher on a regular basis.

I can be happy for him and sad for me at the same time.

Like I said...when he gets called up I'll actually watch SD! more often and attend their house shows, and buy their ppvs that he's on.

He's one of my absolute favorites.

I just, selfishly, liked seeing him rule all kinds of hell on roh tapes.

This could be vital for WWE. This is the first of the new-wave of indy talent they've signed up, and if they bury him, then guys like AJ, Low Ki, Am Drag and Daniels won't go there in a million years. If, however, they do well with him, then that could allow WE to sign up a load of good workers.

I don't really agree with this post. Even if these guys see their peers being misused I still think they would go to the WWE. It is really the only wrestling company in the states that will give them a stable living and garunteed money really. And most people I know are going to work for the people who offer them job security and money.

Let's take 2 reverse cases about top indy talent vs. WWE contracts

1. Raven makes twice as much since leaving the job security in WWE working only 3 shows a week since he is a big name.

2. AJ Styles had to turn down a WWE developmental deal last year because they offered him all the security of a 500 dollar a week pay check that he blows away working indys.

Job security, yes...but indy guys at the level WWE would be taking from (Styles, Daniels, Low Ki) make more than WWE will offer them.

I guarantee someone as in demand as London took a pay cut to work more days.

That's what I was thinking. Which is why it surprises me that London, who is young and has the potential to be TNA champion in a few years (if it's still around), would join WWE now, at a time when he is unknown outside smark circles and would have to take a pay cut.

AJ Styles turned it down when he was in Londons position, and I'm sure he's pretty damn glad about it now.

I actually did hear something about Kidman on Byte This bitching about Brock's SSP...but then made a smart ass comment like "at least he didn't hit it, so its still really mine."

Just so you all know...

It's been reported that a lot, and I mean A LOT of the WWE wrestlers are pulling for TNA to flourish, because they think that the competition is good for the business. Plus, they also know that if soemhow they get cut, that they have a good place to fall back on.

Don't be too surprised if London opts out and goes on to rule back in TNA.

Dandy, Tajiri IS pretty dumbed down, IMO. Just like RVD, they took a guy who got over on a unique workrate and presence, and made certain moves (Tarantula, Rolling Thunder, etc. to name a few) their trademark "Spots". You can pretty much call any Tajiri or RVD match these days, when the whole reason they were over was for being unpredictable.

Considering that Paul London has stated that going to WWE is his DREAM- I think his TNA days are over.

Plus he signed a guaranteed contract- He won't be able to go to Nashville for a while.

bob's right.

He's done in TNA for probably longer than TNA will be around in this incarnation (you know...if someone else were to buy the existing product and then change it without the Jarrett's and stuff...)

He's overseas so much that TNA would never be able to give him that big a push anyway, I think he was only ever on a total of 4 shows.

Another thing...

If Vince doesn't care about the cruisers, why not just let them go out there and do whatever, anyways? I mean, he doesn't even BOOK THEM for crying out loud...
