Ack, I forgot all about Weird Al and SOD. Speak English Or Die is one of the greatest metal albums ever, and is also highly funny. And Bad Hair Day is home to the greatest Christmas song ever, The Night Santa Went Crazy.

second is the already-mentioned 'rant in e minor'.

bill cosby had a compilation album, 'for adults only', which ROCKS THE HOUSE. you haven't lived until you've heard bill cosby talk about how his 6-year-old daughter pulled her shirt up at the dinner table and said "see my titties?"

"Wallie, Wallie" is a classic, too, where his daughters catch him taking a piss ("doing God's work" as Cosby described it) after a shower and they see that he's not built like they are. Later, he finds them trying to "get their wallie wallies to come out" in another bathroom.

I bought a two-disc collection from Bill Cosby from Borders last month. It's an import compilation of two of his 70s albums on Capitol, My Father Confused Me and Bill's Best Friend. While it's always cool to hear Bill Cosby material that I've never heard before, this isn't as funny as his 60s albums. And some of the bits on the albums were later revised and used in the movie Bill Cosby: Himself.

You also can't go wrong with Universal's The Best of Bill Cosby: The Millennium Collection. I think Cosby's the only comedian who got a compilation like that.

I've been really getting into Bob Newhart lately. And I've always loved Bill Hicks and George Carlin. I've also been considering picking up some Richard Pryor, since Rhino's released a two-disc "greatest hits" package a while back.

Bloodhound Gang have made some funny stuff. My favourite being the song "Yellow Fever" from the album, which had to be taken of their album "One Fierce Beer Coaster". I hate it when people post lyrics, but I'm gonna do it anyway :headbang:

Are those numchucks in your pants or are you just happy to see me?

Let me take you back to the day that I met my China girl

When I landed a 'Pam' like on the San Fran Real World

I was sweating like a vegetable inside of a wok

I'd never been to Asia Minor but I was gonna Bangkok

Like Kristy Yamaguchi I had to break the ice

Should I talk about Mothra M*A*S*H or shrimp-fried rice?

I was sharp as a Chinese star but it's a line I threw

Just thirty seconds over Tokyo and this Johnny would Woo

I took a shot like Jeanette Lee put on my moves like Bruce Lee

I told he every Soon Yi needs a little Woody

She said for all the tea in China my vagina's not free

But my love will linger longer than the Ming Dynasty

I said I needed her to do and her to do my laundry

I knew she needed a way to stay legally within the country

She was made in Taiwan I said I'm O.K. with that

Just promise me you'll never try to eat my cat

Chinky chinky bang bang I love you

Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too

In Japan the hand is used as a knife

In Japan a man's wife's hand job than can cost him his life

But now this Captain Kirk has his own Sulu

I'll shampoo her Foo Man Chu with Lo Hung Wang Goo

Cause I ride my slant-eyed slope like a brand new Kawasaki

Oh me chinky she's so kinky got me hot like Nagasaki

Burnin' up like Napalm burstin' like an A-bomb

I think I got that jungle fever but I caught it in 'Nam

She's like an oriental rug cause I lay her where I please

Then I blindfold her with dental floss and get down on her knees

I'm a diving Kamikaze eating out Chinese

First I'll have the poo-poo platter than some tuna sushi

She'll be screaming like Godzilla and kickin' like Jackie Chan

I'll get her redder than China wetter than the Sea of Japan

Like the Chinese New Year she's gonna see fireworks

Now be a good chinky and press Jimmy's shirts

Chinky chinky bang bang I love you

Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too

Sing chinky sing

One more time

Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too

Chinky chinky bang bang chinky bang

Chinky chinky bang biddily biddily biddily bang

I have the Richard Pryor box set. It brings the awesome and then some. It's very interesting to see him go from a Cosby knockoff to a more edgier entertainer, to a very personal comedian talking about himself and his life. You didn't really have comedians talking about their screwed up home lives and addictions before Richard and now they all do it.

I have No Cure for Cancer too and I still find it hilarious in spots, but in other spots Leary just needs to chill.

You want an obscure one. Get "Go Change Your Pants" by Don Reese. Big, huge bald guy. Does bits about he goes into Long John's Silvers dressed as a pirate pretending to be a district manager and how he'll go into dry cleaners and mess with them. "How are you guys at getting out blood...I mean a lot of blood. I got it off the walls and all..."

Carlos Mencia is a favorite aournd town........I have some of his work on MP3. Just last night some friends and I were discussing how Carlos Mencia is better than George Lopez.

George comedy is basically about his family and being poor. Carlos Mencia is more of a intelligent comedy about current topics such as the Middle East. Both do jokes about white people often calling out "white" names like Jonathan in the shows but Carlos has better delivery.

I also enjoy the Bloodhound Gang, Magna Cum Nada is a great track.

Standup comedy albums I like are Shut Up You Fucking Baby by David Cross, Mitch Hedberg's CD, and most stuff by Carlin and Bill Hicks.

For comedy bands I like some Weird Al and most of the Bloodhound Gang's songs.

STAND-UP: Gotta love later Carlin (when he gets REALLY pissed off), Lewis Black, and Eddie Izzard. Haven't heard anything that isn't hilarious by them.

BANDS: Green Jelly owns 'em all.
