Guest hosserific Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 i think dare i say test isnt bad, he has a good arsenal of high-impact moves
Guest hosserific Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 oh my god i cant believe i forgot!!! THE GIANT GONZALEZ!!!!!! the ultimate wrestler
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Silly me! How could I have forgotten the greatness that is…KILLER KOWALSKI JR.! HE'S GONNA EAT YOU! I thought that was Nathan Jones for a second.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Nathan Jones looks...smarter. Poor Junior.
Ultra Violence Posted July 16, 2003 Author Report Posted July 16, 2003 Interesting collection of responses there. I think A-Train needs to shave his back and go back to the leather trousers / mesh top. If he continues to improve his move set, I would find him acceptable
Guest JMA Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Big Van Vader Bruiser Brody Terry Gordy Bam Bam Bigelow Mike Awesome Stan Hansen Barry Windham Steve Williams Cactus Jack Junkyard Dog
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Albert needs to bust out his missile fuckin dropkick.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 I forgot about Norton. He had a stretch of work in the early 90's in New Japan that was pretty good, although that was because the Japanese get a kick out of watching big gaijin kick the shit out of their heroes while they try to rally them back.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 i think dare i say test isnt bad, No, he's fucking awful.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 I love it when someone says Test "isn't that bad" then can't come up with any reason as to why he "isn't that bad". He has a good aresnal of moves? C'mon man! No he don't! Even if he does, he has no idea what to do with them or when to do them. He has no heat, until he beats up women. He can't sell for shit. He gets blown up quicker than Billy Gunn. He fucking blows.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Yeah, I mean, the "Test isn't bad" point has been made since 99... has he improved at all over 4 years?
Guest ViciousFish Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Test may not be the best on the roster but I can't ever recall him 'half-assing' it. He always looks like he's giving 100% which is alot more than alot of other people on the roster
Guest Coffey Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Vader Scott Norton Bam Bam Bigelow Barry Windham Mike Awesome Stan Hanson All of which have already been mentioned. They do exist!
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 He always looks like he's giving 100% I guess Albert, O'Haire, Jindrak, All the women, Mack etc. are good too.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Vader Bam Bam Bigelow Undertaker (phenom) Kane Big Boss Man
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Test may not be the best on the roster but I can't ever recall him 'half-assing' it. He always looks like he's giving 100% which is alot more than alot of other people on the roster The fact that that ::points to a Test match:: is his best is a disgrace.
Guest Muzz Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 I don't know what you would classify Mick Foley as...
Guest BAR Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Vader being the most noteable. And, Barry Windham: never considered him a hoss until now.
Guest Choken One Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 If we're calling Barry a Hoss...Then He bumps to #1 just above Vader.
Guest JMA Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 I'd say Foley and Windham have ALWAYS been hosses. It's a very loose system.
Guest JMA Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Foley was a Bumper...Not a Hoss.. He can very easily be both. I think he was a hoss BECAUSE he was a bumper. I think he once said the extra bulk was to cushion himself.
Guest Choken One Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 My idea of a Hoss is a guy that is Large and Big... Foley was just wide body (he wasn't fat until his final run)
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Foley was most definitely NOT a hoss...
Guest RepoMan Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Silly me! How could I have forgotten the greatness that is…KILLER KOWALSKI JR.! HE'S GONNA EAT YOU! Hey, did you ever go to NMW in Rochester, NY
Guest JMA Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 Foley was most definitely NOT a hoss... I disagree. Look at his runs as Cactus Jack in WCW and ECW.
Guest Choken One Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 That isn't a hoss...That's an Suicidal Bumper... Hoss is Large Person like Vader, Test, Kane, Taker...
Guest Memphis Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Being a Hoss is as much in the look as it is in the wrestling style. Foley could brawl like a Hoss, however he never once looked like one, thus eliminating him from being one. I've never really found anything horrible with A-Train, considering that a lot of other people like him, such as Batista, are about as fucking vanilla and boring as they come. At least A-Train looks unique. Andre was a Hoss before being a Hoss was cool, and he was something to watch back when he could go. Other than that, all my other suggestions have been listed. $M$
