Guest The Rising Star Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Since WM 20 is next year, I was wondering if you people think there will ever be a WM 30. I think it will, but I hope that Vince McMahon doesn't Main Event. I can imagine the top stars will be Brock and Angle, while Nash and HHH are special referees.

There will always be a market for pro wrestling in the States, and Vince and Co. are the only people established enough now to be big in 10 years. They may have to hold it in Key Arena instead of Safeco Field, but I see no reason why WWE won't still be going in 10 years. As far as the participants...Lesnar maybe, Angle no chance. I'll be surprised if he makes it to 25.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 It'll be around in 10 years. Main eventers might be guys we've never heard of yet though
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 There's no freakin way Angle will be wrestling at WMXXX........He may be there in a mangerial role or something, but I think he's done wrestling in 3 years.
Guest Choken One Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Angle himself said he only has 3-4 years left in him. Yes, Mania XXX will go down barring some massive meltdown. I will predict that WWE becomes more International Flavored ala NBA, MLB and It wouldn't shock me if WMXXX occurs in Toyko Japan. PPV will be non-existant by 2014 because of the amazing Internet Broadband capabilites.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 It'd be funny if WMXXX was on Closed Circuit TV. Talk about going backwards. The return of CLosed Circuit would be cool. By then when we watch it at home it'll be like being there because it would be broadcast in High Definition and who knows what type of sound they'll have by then. Also, If WWE was still racey and controversial in 10 years the name of the PPV would be perfect. "WMXXX..........it's XXX baby with no edited out footage!"
Guest Frankie Williams Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Main Event for WMXXX: Triple H (with VKM in his corner) vs. Undertaker (with Shane McMahon) vs Steve Austin (with Linda McMahon) vs Hogan (with Stephanie McMahon) vs Rock (with Ed McMahon) for HHH's world title. 10 years is a long time to wait for that barnburner, but its worth it.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I think there'll be a WMXXX. I also think both Vince and Hogan will be involved, i doubt death could pull their geriatric asses out of the spotlight.
Guest Brian Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I would be surprised if both are still alive in ten years. Hogan's taken a lot of bumps and both were using steroids, and the general hectic schedules (Hogan from the glory days and Vince's work with the company).
Guest Anglesault Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Main Event for WMXXX: Triple H (with VKM in his corner) vs. Undertaker (with Shane McMahon) vs Steve Austin (with Linda McMahon) vs Hogan (with Stephanie McMahon) vs Rock (with Ed McMahon) for HHH's world title. 10 years is a long time to wait for that barnburner, but its worth it. Ed? Is he the demon offspring? Edit: I be stupid. Me forget who Ed McMahon be.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 You think Ed and his hard drinking have 10 years left?
Guest Vyce Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I look forward to WM 40, where we'll likely see HHH / Steph's demon breed headlining.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I look forward to WM 40, where we'll likely see HHH / Steph's demon breed headlining. At WM XXV he beats Jericho...
Guest commie_050 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I would be surprised if both are still alive in ten years. Hogan's taken a lot of bumps and both were using steroids, and the general hectic schedules (Hogan from the glory days and Vince's work with the company). Hey, remember Hogan was at WM 1, and he's still doing these damn things (and will probably end up on the WM XX card). With him, I don't count ANYTHING out.
Guest razazteca Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Hogan vs Vince the rematch 10 years in the making.
Guest Brian Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 At some point, things will catch up to those guys. The stress, in the past in some cases, intermixed with injuries and steroid use.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Hogan vs Vince the rematch 10 years in the making. Why do I see that happening? And why the fuck do I see that also being "a bad match but had lots of emotion and psychology" type of thing we'll say about it like the one they had at WMXIX?
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Brock Lesnar vs. Matt Hardy for the WWEEFFF Title
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 god damn can you imagine the next generation of McMahons will be a mixture of Steph and HHH ECK big Nose kids domianting the wrestling business in America
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I look forward to WM 40, where we'll likely see HHH / Steph's demon breed headlining. At WM XXV he beats Jericho... Wouldn't he be only 4 or 5 by that time? Or is that your point?
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 WMXXX MAin Event: Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon "20 Years In The Making"/ "15 Years To Late" Live! April 9th from the Manhattan Center,NYC
Guest Anglesault Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I look forward to WM 40, where we'll likely see HHH / Steph's demon breed headlining. At WM XXV he beats Jericho... Wouldn't he be only 4 or 5 by that time? If he's even that old. They'd have to start that baby making like now for him to be five.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I think there will be a WM XXX. Brock would still be around probably, but there probably won't be many others in the Federation today that will be there.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I think there will be a WM XXX. Brock would still be around probably, but there probably won't be many others in the Federation today that will be there. I dunno if Brock will be around. If you look at the WWF 1993 roster and the WWE 2003 roster...not many of the same guys are still around. 10 years is a long time to burn a bridge or end a career
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 WM 30 predictions: A-Train squashes Spanky Undertaker wins his match Hulk Hogan defeats Ric Flair in the main event

If you look at the WWF 1993 roster and the WWE 2003 roster...not many of the same guys are still around. 10 years is a long time to burn a bridge or end a career True. But I was thinking age-wise. 36 isn't too old to still be with the company, right?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Yeah, if he takes good care of himself there's no reason he can't go another 15 years. I'm just saying that a lot of the major guys in 93 are long gone...a decade is a long time for stuff to happen. Most of the current roster will be out of the WWE or whatever it is by then
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 If you look age wise then these guys would still be in their 30's at the time of WXXX: Brock Lesnar, Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Brian Kendrick, Batista, Jamie Knoble, Billy Kidman, Haas, Benjamin, John Cena, Rhyno, Randy Orton, LA Resistance, Christian, Edge Now it all depends on injuries, drugs, death, problems, burned bridges.....i would say out of the current roster there will still be 5-7 left in 10 years.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Actually, from your list, Edge and Christian would be in their early 40's. But I see your point.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??!!!!! Isn't Edge like 28 now? and Christian like 27?
