Guest JRE Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 From an interview at IGN Xbox: IGN: What's the most important thing about your character that you would like to see incorporated into WWE Raw 2? Steven Richards: When I first saw myself in Smackdown, they got everything down to the color of my eyes correct. It was surreal to see, and I can just imagine what I'm going to look like in Raw 2 with the power of the Xbox. I'm really excited about it. I'd like to see them get my mannerisms down, like when I do my suplex, I actually yell and throw my hand up in the air, and if they were able to incorporate the sound of me yelling, that would be a nice little touch. Another thing I'd like to see is Stevie Night Heat. I've actually made Heat my show where I go out and call it Stevie Night Heat. It's a fun thing I get to do and they're letting me run with it. If they could add a Stevie Night Heat ring apron every time I wrestle, that would be a cool touch. I'm going to even have a belt engraved that I hope they'll let me bring on the show so I could say I'm the champion of Heat. I'm sure everyone will think I'm crazy, so it should be fun.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 *Watches the 5 people who watch heat care* They need more Stevie on Raw. Monday Night Richards!
Guest Choken One Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Odd...He's been on Raw more then Heat lately it seems. If he is SUNDAY NIGHT STEVIE... He should be EXCLUSIVE for HEAT.
Guest JRE Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 See, on Heat he's the GM. On Raw he's just a regular old superstar.
Guest JRE Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 If he is SUNDAY NIGHT STEVIE... It's Stevie Night Heat. As in all STEVIE all NIGHT and nothing but HEAT
Guest Steviekick Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 I can see it now...the Stevieweight title.
Guest Nevermortal Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 He should be EXCLUSIVE for HEAT. Remember the last guy who was exclusive to Heat? Where's he now?
Guest Steviekick Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 All the kidding aside, something should be done to make the b-shows seem more worth watching.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Odd, Yuna should be all over this topic--haven't seen her post in a while, though... Maybe he can dig the Euro out of the WWE prop closet.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Who would be the Velocity Champion? Funaki?
Mecha Mummy Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 All the kidding aside, something should be done to make the b-shows seem more worth watching. Whoa. A storyline on a b-show? Jeez, after Raven left I kind of forgot what that was.
Guest JRE Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 So let's see. Last year D'Lo and Raven feuded on Heat. This year Stevie and Goldust are feuding on Heat. Stevie better not get the axe.
Guest Choken One Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Fuck Stevie...I'm too afraid to see what Russo will do with Rhodes. Stevie can be the same guy in TNA... Rhodes NEEDS to be Goldust.
boobshaw Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Who would be the Velocity Champion? Funaki? Orlando Jordan vs. A-Train EVERY WEEK for that bad boy!
Guest Eagan469 Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Rhodes NEEDS to be Goldust. If he ever went to NWA they could just invert his colors (black dominant, gold highlights) and call him Coaldust
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Aside from the "Tourette's," Goldust is just a goofy guy now anyway. Although Russo could finally try that Platinum gimmick on Lil' Dust.
Guest JMA Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Goldust's character is just a parody now. What was once a psychological and bizarre character is now a joke who speaks funny. I much preferred Goldust being a transvestite from West Hollywood. I always thought they (the WWF/E) should have played up the fact that he was actively trying to ruin his and his father's legacy. I'm surprised Russo never did that.
Guest Choken One Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 I thought that was the ENTIRE point of his shit in Early 1998 was to shit on Dusty...
Guest welshjerichomark Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Damn, where the hell is Yuna?
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Velocity champion would be Jamie Noble.
Guest Vyce Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 I definitely mark for this. I like Stevie, and I think he's been doing a pretty good job of making Heat entertaining during his segments there.
Guest Prototype450 Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Ok, Funaki A-Train, Orlando Jones, jamie Knoble should all have a four way match for the velocity championship.
Ultra Violence Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Rhodes NEEDS to be Goldust. If he ever went to NWA they could just invert his colors (black dominant, gold highlights) and call him Coaldust To avoid the gimmick infringement Russo could throw a red cap on him and call him CoalduRst. He would be over as a heel with metal fans, and he could cut arrogant twatesque promos
Detective Comics Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Richards and Dreamer need to get released all ready.... they aren't getting used properly, they are old, and they may as well find work somewhere where they will be appreciated.
Guest JRE Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 What the hell? Stevie is being used nicely. Not high profile, but nicely. He's the Heat GM dammit.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 Goldust got a pretty big pop Monday night. Maybe that will be a hint that it might be a good idea to use him on Raw again.
