Beyonce and Metallica are the latest to be added to the list of performers for the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, to be held on August 28th. They join 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, and Christina Aguilera. Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Missy Elliott, Sean Paul, Mya, Method Man, Iggy Pop, tennis star Serena Williams, and cast members from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and Crank Yankers have also been confirmed to appear on the show.
