What is up with the dollar plus menu?

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that at my local mcdonalds and wendy's that they have increased the price of the dollar menu burgers. The double cheeseburger is now 1.50 same with the mcchicken. And at wendy's the junior bacon cb and the junior cheeseburger deluxe are both 1.40. What is up with that????? Is this the same every where else?

I went to McDonald's last week and it was still a dollar then. Wouldn't everything fall under the "Dollar Plus Menu"?

No, local mcdonalds version of the dollar plus menu is 1.50 for a double cheeseburger or mcchicken.

They are obviously privately run stores, especially the Wendy's since they pride themselves on the longest running dollar (well..99 cents) menu. The McDonalds dollar menu is laughable. And who can forget the Burger King dollar menu..

I live in westchester county, NY. It is a suburb of manhattan. I guess they are privately run stores. I laughed at those prices.

McDonald's menu is good for one thing. The double cheeseburgers. That's a steal, considering regular cheeseburgers are 99 cents.

McDonalds and BK seem to have trimmed down the dollar menu where I live (LI). Burger King took off the tacos (SACRILEGE!), value fries, Sourdough Cheeseburger, and a whole bunch of stuff). McDonalds took off the Double Cheeseburger (as it was probably killing the Cheeseburger's profits). Wendy's, however, still remains the same :).

No more tacos around me either, although, they sucked.

99 cents? Regular cheeseburgers here are 69 cents, and occasionally 39 cents.

Bah...99 cents for Chicken Nuggets is nice but 3.19 for a Double? FUCK THAT! 4.99 for a Fucking tossed salad? FUCK THAT!

Then again...McDonalds is more criminal...

I just go fuck it and go straight for Subway or Gold Star/Skylin
