Guest edotherocket Report post Posted July 27, 2003 As of writing this, the identities of the masked performers on tomorrow’s Vengeance PPV in the APA brawl are scheduled to be Rob Conway and Johnny Jeter as Los Conquistadores, Nick Dinsmore as Doink the Clown, and Sean Evans as The Easter Bunny. The entire FBI has been sent over to OVW because there is simply no place for them in WWE right now, according to management. David Lagana is apparently high on Nunzio. Paul Heyman has pitched an idea of a three way program between Nunzio, Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy. Chuck Palumbo’s contract just expired, but he was able to work out a new one with management. Stamboli is said to be in need of a trip to OVW to learn a little bit more about in ring performing. McMahon likes Nunzio so he is safe from a lay off, but he has to go because the rest of the group is. RAW writer Brian Gewirtz is pushing the Lance Storm “boring” gimmick to set up for a comedy tag team in the future. The plan is to have Storm team up with a semi-main-eventer and do skits of the superstar trying to teach Storm how to be charismatic, but he just won’t getting it. - Wrestling Observer via RajahWWF.com
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted July 27, 2003 No place in the WWE for the FBI? They actually havent been that bad lately. Maybe there is no place for them because they need those 30 min Mcmahon segments every week.

Was I the only one who wanted to see Lombardi as both Doink and the Brooklyn Brawler? It could have been great with those two going trying to find each other, but for some reason never being able to. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Damn. I was hoping that the APA Brawl thing would set up a hot Easter Bunny vs Albert fued that would end in a PPV match at Summerslam. Still has a $4 bet on the Easter Bunny to win, but it doesn't look so good any more.

Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted July 27, 2003 I just can't see Goldust and Lance Storm teaming. Well, no one could have possibly guessed that Goldust/Booker would work, and Goldust/Storm would already have the storyline built in rather than just teaming them up for no reason. Seriously...Booker had NO comic skills or projection until Goldy came along... I suppose this is that big push they were planning to give Lance Storm ? Not that I give a fuck about the guy, but it's just funny that WWE pushes for non-WWE guys always turn out this way. And guys....it's not gonna be Goldust teaming up with Storm. It's gonna be one Rob Van Dam. I mean, it's not like they have anything planned for him. And the whole "loosen-up" tag team worked so well with Kane, it'd be insanity - INSANITY - for Gerwitz to not do the same thing with Lance Storm. You watch - another 6 months of midcard hell for RVD. Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted July 27, 2003 A Storm/Goldy team has potential, the skits would be entertaining and the matches would likely be good, so i see no problem with them teaming.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Damn, I thought that "rub" that Taker gave them was going to make their careers for sure! Seriously, though, ever since then they ruined their "hit list" schtick and left them with nothing they were bound to be doomed and losing heat rapidly. Nunzio's the only good wrestler out of them, but they were booked so poorly you'd think they shit in Vince's cornflakes.

IIRC isn't Torrie's big thing the fact that so long as she does what Vince wants her to (like Playboy) that he keeps Billy Kidman on the payroll?
Guest Downhome Report post Posted July 27, 2003 I just fear that if they team Goldust with Lance Storm, WWE "writers" will come up with some sort of "wacky" team name like Golden Storm, or worse yet... ...Golden Shower.
