Guest Trivia247 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 # Vince McMahon was busted open the "hardway" by a chairshot he took from Zach Gowen during last night's PPV. He lost a lot of blood and had to be stitched up following the match. Those who saw the cut said it looked pretty bad. # For those wondering why Ultimo Dragon's push has come to a sudden halt, the word going around is that company officials feel his work is too light and doesn't look realistic enough to justify placing him in a top spot. # As I reported a few days ago, Paul Heyman is scheduled to make his return to WWE television in time for Summer Slam. With the idea being thrown around of turning Brock Lesnar heel, some are already speculating that Brock will once again be aligned with Heyman. (Thanks to 1wrestling.com) Pooor Vince got all bloody beating on a one legged guy for no apparent reason. Ultimo Dragon would do some serious work....If you ONLY LET HIM Morons! Oh yea that would make so much sense..Heyman spent most of the early part of the year and part of last year running and hiding from Brock while throwing his former 5 man stable, Show, Train, Angle and team. Now they are suppose to git back together? oki doki.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Ultimo's work is unrealistic? Zack Gowen's isn't, oh no.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 You could do an angle with Lesnar wanting to get back at Angle so bad that he aligns with Heyman, the man who got the belt off Lesnaar and onto Angle the first time.
Guest Choken One Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Ah shit...here we go Go ahead people...Tell vince why he is an idiot for not pushing Dragon...
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 McMahon's cut and spurts of blood were easily my highlight of the night.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Even if Vince did push the Dragon, the highest he would get on the card would be Cruiserweight Champion. Big fucking deal. They had a chance to get a few good feuds out of him, but it has all been lost by now.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Heyman turned on Brock because Brock got a mind of his own and wanted independance. Heyman alligning with Brock would make sense if Brock went to Heyman, if you catch my drift. Heyman was the one to bring him to the gold the first time, etc etc.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 # For those wondering why Ultimo Dragon's push has come to a sudden halt, the word going around is that company officials feel his work is too light and doesn't look realistic enough to justify placing him in a top spot. Lordy, Lordy! Ultimo and Storm work to light.... RVD and Tajiri worked too stiff.... Nunzio and Noble doesn't know how to work... Nidia is fat....... .........
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Hmm, this shot Vince took sounds bad. Was the blood more than his WM match with Hogan? That pretty much sucks for Ultimo. I bet he'll be in a cruiserweight feud soon. It's not like that's a push or anything. THank god Lesner's turning heel. I can't stand smilin' Brock.
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Ah shit...here we go Go ahead people...Tell vince why he is an idiot for not pushing Dragon... not really about Push its about letting someone at least perform to their ability.... they could win or lose as long as they are able to do what they were hired for... the WWE reduced Ultimo to nothing more than a Reduced Tajiri Kicker who wears a Mask.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I am not bothered about the lack of Ultimo's push, my problem is the idiotic reason that has apparently (although 1wrestling is the source) been given. Ultimo's work is unrealistic. What about the one legged man who they booked in a semi-main event last night or even Rey Misterio? Or the heel on RAW who supposedly hits people with hammers? Lack of realism has never bothered this company before.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I don't care who Heyman alligns himself with, I just want to see the guy on TV again. He is without a doubt one of the best non-wrestling personalities in WWE.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Hmm, this shot Vince took sounds bad. Was the blood more than his WM match with Hogan? It literally squirted out of his head in large spurts.

So who is next on the list to save the Cruiserweight division.......El Santo?
Guest bort Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 the vince cut was nice, i liked it when they showed the replay of it squiting out of his head, ......dragon will get over cuz of his work, if enough people hear about how good he is they will have to push him

Guest Anglesault Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Ah shit...here we go Go ahead people...Tell vince why he is an idiot for not pushing Dragon... So Vince's right?
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Ah shit...here we go Go ahead people...Tell vince why he is an idiot for not pushing Dragon... So Vince's right? Vince is just a innocent victim of circumstances sniff sniff..
Mecha Mummy Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 # For those wondering why Ultimo Dragon's push has come to a sudden halt, the word going around is that company officials feel his work is too light and doesn't look realistic enough to justify placing him in a top spot. That is one of the most absurd reasons for stopping a push I've heard in quite a while.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Some post-PPV WWE newsbites... There were no serious injuries last night at Vengeance, although Vince McMahon needed stitches to close up his bladejob. Vince will be on Raw tonight to confront Kane, and there are strong rumors that Shane McMahon will also be on Raw. SummerSlam will air free in the U.K. on Sky. credit: wrestlingobserver.com Observer says blade, 1wrestling says hardway. I still think it was hardway.
The Dames Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Unless Vince bladed in .02 seconds of the chairshot, that shit was hardway to me. Dames
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Dragon fights too light = doesn't punch and kick enough? WTF?
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 From the replay, it looked like Vince was in position to blade right before/as Gowen hit him with the chair. Maybe Vince was planning on cutting himself before the impact, but Gowen did the spot too quickly causing McMahon to botch the bladejob.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 No way that was pure bladejob. For a start it was on the top of the head. Logically if he bladed, it would have been on the face, no? And the way the blood pretty much gushed out of his head, it sure damn looked hardaway. Annother reason to buy the DVD...
Guest PowerPB13 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Hmm, this shot Vince took sounds bad. Was the blood more than his WM match with Hogan? It literally squirted out of his head in large spurts. Amazingly, we now have video proof that blood DOES still reach Vince's brain, contrary to popular belief... -Patrick
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 So much confusion.... While it was previously thought that the stitches Vince McMahon required were due to him blading, they were actually needed to cover up a cut caused by a chairshot from Zach Gowen. The massive bleeding was from that hardway shot, not a blade job. credit: PWTorch.com
Lil' Bitch Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 For those wondering why Ultimo Dragon's push has come to a sudden halt, the word going around is that company officials feel his work is too light and doesn't look realistic enough to justify placing him in a top spot. Of course, you can't bring out all of Ultimo's best if you keep sticking him in 3-5 minute matches (and sometimes even fucking DARK matches) all the time. God, I hate WWE bookers. I think everybody can agree that Dragon / Kanyon should have been on the PPV with Gunn / Noble on Heat instead.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I didn't watch the PPV, so can't say if it was better or worse than the Noble-Gunn match, but I can say that I was tremendously unimpressed with Dragon-Kanyon. It really wasn't PPV-worthy (and before anyone says it, I agree that the APA brawl and Steph-Sable weren't PPV worthy either)
Gert T Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I think Vince was trying to blade and didn't cover his head to block the chairshot, whether Zach went at him too soon or Vince didn't protect himself is up for debate I guess. As for cruiserweights, I would love to see 'Prime Time" on Smackdown, I think he has enough personality to make the CW division exciting, although if he did I guess he "stole" Trish's move.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 When I saw Vince bleeding I was wondering why the fuck he would blade for a match against Zach Gowen.
