Classic Superstars of Wrestling Boxset?

Was doing a bit of random shopping on the net and came across what was (at the time) a massive misprice on a 8 DVD boxset called "Classic Superstars of Wrestling".

 

As it was so cheap, I ordered and dont really care how good or bad it is when it gets here, just wondered if people have come across it before?

 

Think its going to include the series of DVDs on same label which contains Early Cactus Jack/Austin/JJJ/Booker T.

 

Anyway, anyone seen these or know about it at all?

I would guess that it is a lot of footage from Global/USWA/Memphis/ect. I have a similiar 3 DVD set that was about $20 that features Cactus Jack, Jeff Jarrett, and Steve Austin. Since you got it for cheap, I'd certainly say it was a good buy and a fun look at footage Vince wouldn't show you if he could.

It sounds like someone took the 1 hour monthly pay-per-views running here in Texas and put them onto DVD's. I have only seen 2 episodes and they were matches taken from the weekly WCCW broadcast from the Sportatorium.

I have seen it but never bought it, if ya got it for cheap, then maybe you will enjoy it...who knows...lemme know if its any good once you get it though.......

Needless to say, Im very pleased. Got all that for about £10 (or about $20). Havent really had a chance to see any of it yet, planning to watch most of it this weekend but the Lynn/Kid match was good, Henning/Bockwinkle was ok and theres plenty other old school stuff Im sure I'll enjoy. Looking forward to watching Austins early work too.

Well..I got the Austin/Cactus DVD for $5 in the Wal Mart DVD bin..

 

Im actually getting more of a chuckle out of it than anything...
