Guest Lightning Flik Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I completely forgot that Vin Diesel was an extra in Saving Private Ryan He was? Dude, I must've missed him by a longshot. Usually I pick up on stuff like that.
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I completely forgot that Vin Diesel was an extra in Saving Private Ryan Extra? He was one of the Main characters...
Lil' Bitch Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Phone Booth had a cool trailer, but if you think about what the plot actually is, its ghey. I liked American Outlaws.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 HERE's a good one. What movie, that's not particularly great, could be considered bad or fluffy, but not very bad, just formulaic like a motherfucker, did/do you like?? I'm not talking about campy bad movies, or "so bad it's good" either. Like, I was watching Necessary Roughness staring Scott Bacula... It's been 10 odd years since I seen it last, but I still dug it.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 RRR... What did you think off... The Ice storm *NO reason...just an random movie good stuff. i kinda kept expecting it to take off somehow, and it never really did. but the characters were great. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): though seeing Frodo get fried by a fallen electrical cord on an icy rail was kinda freaky
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 How was the movie Gay? Boiler Room was Great and Had some good acting in it (Vin Diesel no less!)

'armageddon', easily. that's my ultimate guilty pleasure. there is nothing spectacular, interesting, or non-cliched about it at all, and i love it.

Lil' Bitch Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Vin Diesel's filmography: - Strays - Saving Private Ryan - The Iron Giant - Boiler Room - Pitch Black - The Fast and the Furious - xXx - Knockaround Guys - A Man Apart
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Since the premise of this thread was that we're waiting for Spoilers... Has anyone bothered to look?
Garth Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 8 Miles just finished, its 4:35 in the morning over here. What should i watch now out of - X2, Matrix Reloaded, or Daredevil?
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Vin Diesel's filmography: - Strays - Saving Private Ryan - The Iron Giant - Boiler Room - Pitch Black - The Fast and the Furious - xXx - Knockaround Guys - A Man Apart Two GREAT movies (Room and Ryan) One Fun Kick Ass movie (FAF) Knockaround was a good movie that people knocked because it had Vin Diesel in it. Diesel oughta play those roles more often... I still dunno if I buy him as a Jew anyways...but the Star Of David Tatoo rule dispite it went against Jewish Beliefs...
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 8 Miles just finished, its 4:35 in the morning over here. What should i watch now out of - X2, Matrix Reloaded, or Daredevil? Those movies all suck. Go Rent Boiler Room... < Is thinking about after talking about it for 3 pages
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Boiler room is the shit....that movie inspired me to wanna become a broker. It had awesome characters and awesome dialauge.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I brought Bringing Down The House today. "You got me straight tripping, boo"
Garth Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I've never even heard of boiler room, what in the blue hell is it? Has it even been released in the UK?
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 beats me... But it's better then those 3 movies...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I liked Pitch Black. Its amazing that you can get 5 pages (40 posts a page) of stuff completely unrelated to spoilers. I mean, everyone knows that Smackdown is taped on west coast which means 3 hours later than usual. They probably just did start taping..

Guest DrainYou42 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Vince McMahon: Right now on the phone, Jake "The Snake" Roberts... Jerry: WHAT?! Vince McMahon: Jake, how are you? Jake Roberts: I'm doing okay. Vince McMahon: Jake was out yesterday due to an internal muscle... Jerry: No McMahon, I told everyone the reason why Jake was out of In Your House. He has barthritis he aches in a different bar every night, HA! HA! So Jake, where are you calling from? The local bar, or the Betty Ford Clinic? Vince McMahon: How dare you! Steve Austin: I didn't know you could get a torn muscle coughing up all that hootch. Jerry: HA! HA! Hey Jake, I thought you would be here, so look, I got a surprise for you. Look Jake, it's your tag team partner Jim Beam HA! HA! HA! HA! Jake Roberts: One of these days, someone is going to get you and I hope that it will be me. Vince McMahon: Jake, when do you think you will be back? Jake Roberts: Hopefully soon. Steve Austin: As far as I'm concerned son, You need to stay out for as long as you can... Vince McMahon: I'm sorry Jake, I will not subject you to anymore of this. Jerry: So long Jake, why don't you say hello to your friend Otis Campbell, Ha! Ha! Steve Austin: McMahon if you ever cut me off like that again, I'll back-hand slap you and knock those stupid glasses off your face.

To see how outlandishly far our Post whoring can go.. Although...This week we actually had an constructive debate mired in between nothingness...
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Although this has nothing to do with anything: I actually watched "Assassins" with Banderas/Stallone earlier. Half way through, I was wishing someone would assassinate me. My tip: If anyone ever, ever, ever says "Hey, you wanna watch this?" in connection with Assassins, you say "NO" and smack the bastard upside the grill. Then you make him watch it, till he shits his pants and begs for forgiveness.
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 God...Assassians sucked huge sweaty salty balls.
Garth Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Ok i've decided to go with a nice helping of Buffy instead.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 God...Assassians sucked huge sweaty salty balls. Indeed. It didn't even have that "so bad it's good" feel that action films like "Commando" have.
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Jesus EXPAND your horizons! Buffy...It's always buffy with you people...
{''({o..o})''} Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Dammit I missed out on the post whoring due to work. Freaking 37 hours work in 3 days. Any common aspect in the post whoring tonight?
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I can't watch an episode of Buffy without going on a rant about how it's the shittest piece of non-sensical TV crap. Really, I can't.
