Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2003 God Bless Stuff magazine. As for last night's episode, I taped it, but didn't watch it. I got a call at 8:57 from a friend I've seen once in 4 years, so that kinda took precident (unfortunately...I needed my fix!) Comments will follow my viewing of the show when I get out of work tonight. I did see bits here and there, including Kirsten telling her dad that outside of the office, they have nothing to say to each other anymore.
OldSchoolWrestling 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2003 They're replaying it tonight after Tru Calling so you may not even need to pop in the tape.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 13, 2003 Those are indeed some nice photos, but I don't know Summer's face still bothers me. Doesn't bother me enough to kick her out, but it's just enough to keep me from calling her hot.
Guest bort Report post Posted November 14, 2003 the oc is on right now, the 3rd time this week for us canada folk
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 The previews for next week look great. "We always knew you were a late bloomer son." "Thanks mom"
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 So is the Thursday showing a regular thing? If so then I can watch, but I won't be able to catch it on Wed. night.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 Caught the show on the encore, so I saved my tape a rewind, heh. Seth is turning into frickin' Don Juan, and I don't think he even realizes it, which makes the storyline that much better. He's honestly clueless as to what to do, but is getting closer to both Anna and Summer. Summer: "I like Seth Cohen!?" Classic. I'm glad they tied up the loose end of Julie Cooper hitting on Caleb Nichol back in the early run of the show. Jimmy's reaction, as OSW said, was great. Julie is one of those characters that you love to hate. Ryan and Marissa's interaction, especially with Ryan's uneasiness about having an actual girlfriend was well done. No Luke this episode, which was surprising, but he really wasn't needed. Anyone catch the preview for next week's ep (which takes place on Thanksgiving)? Looks like Seth has his hands full, and what the hell were Julie and Caleb doing in the preview? Plus, Ryan going to visit his brother is a good twist to the story, as we get more of his history as opposed to his adjusting to life in Newport.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 So is the Thursday showing a regular thing? If so then I can watch, but I won't be able to catch it on Wed. night. They have been replaying it every Thurs. since it came back on.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 14, 2003 I still believe they should send 70's Show and Stan Hooper to Monday Night at 8 and 830 and then Have Tru Calling at nine. Tru Calling is getting the shaft at Thursday...move SKIN to Eight on wednesday. Or Put OC at 8 and keep that market for the similar SKIN show. Stick The damn Joe Millionaire on Thursday since FOX admits it was a bust anyways...
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 I caught Tru Calling tonight as well and it wasn't too bad.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 Summer should guest star on That 70's Show, playing virtually the same character. Her and Jackie would be EXACTLY alike. So that means they'd have to get into a cat fight. Oh yeah, the show. IT DESTROYS 24. 24 was my favourite show for the past two seasons, but this show sends it back to Chino. Eat it, Kiefer. Oh yeah, and has anyone heard ANYTHING about a DVD set? Anything? At all?

Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 14, 2003 What the motherfuck? When? Oh but they'll stick with Joe Millionaire 2 which ALSO done shitty ratings.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 14, 2003 bullshit...it's a good show, but in no way does it blow 24 away. Besides, they are completely different, so it's pointless to even compare them.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 From Stuff Magazine: Are you dating anyone these days? I have a boyfriend, but we just got in a fight, so I don’t know. I don’t want to give him the credit. Blah. We got into a little fight, but we've talked and everything is fine now... SO BACK OFF, YOU BASTARDS.

Guest bort Report post Posted November 16, 2003 Next weeks show looks to be very good, Seth and the girls storyline moving along very nice, i thought they would have saved ryan and his brother storyline for the season finale or season 2.... im glad i live in canada and can watch it on monday instead of waiting till wensday
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Bump for tonight: Thanksgiving at the Cohen house, Seth's in love with two women, and why the hell were Caleb and Julie Cooper at the Cohen house in the previews? Oh, OldSchool, you forgot to mention one thing about STUFF this month. Not only is the lovely Rachel Bilson in it, but so is Kelly Packard, aka Tiffani from California Dreams. IMO, best STUFF ever! haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Hey, why is there a Thanksgiving episode this week? Does this mean no O.C. next week due to holiday specials or something?
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 That's what I'm thinkin'. If anything, they should replay some of the earlier eps to catch people up on the current storylines. Do 3 hours Wednesday, Thanksgiving night, and Friday, that way new viewers can be caught up for the following week.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Here's another preview from Earthlink The O.C. 09:00 PM - FOX Julie (Melinda Clarke) gets thoroughly pissed off when she finds out Marissa (Mischa Barton) accompanied Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) to the Chino prison where his brother is incarcerated. Everyone nervously awaits their arrival at the Cohens' house, where tensions between the two families mount. Later, the Cohens host a Thanksgiving dinner to remember. OK, I'm kicking myself for forgetting the part where Ryan goes to see his brother. At least that explains why Julie and Caleb show up.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 The following are NOT spoilers, but they do deal with something that could potentially occur tonight, so thus, the tag. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): A friend and I were speculating that Ryan's brother asks him to steal something from the Cohen's place, to get him some money in the joint. Ryan's standing in a room holding some priceless junk, contemplating whether he can really do this, when Sandy sees him and inquires. After explaining the situation, Sandy tells Ryan to take it. He also says not to tell anyone, thus creating a "secret" of sorts and possibly increasing the tension between Sandy and Kirsten. Keep in mind I have no basis per se for the above, it's simply speculation on a possible plotline. Just thought I'd put it out there.

Right now...They should just shitcan 70's Show and Stan Hooper over to Monday in Skin's vacent slot and air the prior week of OC at 8... Why two weeks ahead? Knowing The O.C...It's normal to have THX two weeks before hand...Hell in my mom's family we always had THX two weeks AFTER.
