Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted August 18, 2003 Scotland lost one of her greatest adopted sons over the weekend. The self-proclaimed King of Scotland as well as the Emperor of Uganda last visited his spiritual homeland back in 1972, but the man and the country remain inextricably linked. Born into Ugandan poverty in 1925, Amin joined the King's African Rifles as a cook for the Britsih army. He rose through the ranks to field marshal and received his training in Stirling, a stint which began his heartfelt love affair with our Great Nation. His trademark headwear since that time has been a tartan forage cap. Ugandan heavyweight boxing champion from 51-60, he became Ugandan army chief following independence. With the help of the British, he deposed Prime Minister Obote, established his crack military special forces in kilts and commissioned a Scottish pipe band. In 1977 to celebrate the Queen's silver jubilee, he requested a pair of her 25-year old panties from Buckingham Palace to mark the occasion. The request was turned down. The panties incident would unfortunately mark the high point of his career. In 1979 he callenged Julius Nyerere, the diminutive president of Tanzania, to a boxing match with one hand tied behind his back. Nyerere did not take kindly to the taunt and had 45,000 of his troops & Ugandan exiles invade the capitol of Kampala. Amin fled to Iraq and then Saudi Arabia, where he lived out his life in exile. He leaves behind 6 wives and 43 children, four of whom are named Campbell, McLaren, McKenzie and Mackintosh. Goodbye Idi. You mass murdering fucker.
Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 To properly quote Eddie Izzard, that's "mass-murdering fuckhead." As many important historians have said, of course.

Zorin Industries 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 I have to say i'm finding this really strange. Saddams gone and now Amins dead, it seems like the world I knew is really starting to change. I'm sure that makes no sense to you guys, but it does to me. P.S: Incase anyone is confused, i'm not sorry Amin is dead, far from it. Didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression. Guest MD2020 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 Hey guys, let's cut Idi a break here. Sure, he was a "mass-murdering fuckhead", as well as reported to be a cannibal, but I feel he did an excellent job as Lt. Al Giardello in Homicide: Life on the Street. Well, the best defense for him is this --- When you find yourself in a long line, don't you wish he ate a few MORE people? -=Mike --- Idi Amin: Savior to the "overpopulation" whackos. River City Rocker 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2003 Speaking of "Big Daddy", check this out. More background here if you like. It should give you more than enough evidence that Idi Amin was a fucking lunatic. -Ben

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2003 Castro's sons are worse than he, and I'm not so sure his dying will make Cuba any better. Hopefully Castro dieing would lead to the downfall of the communist government and his sons wouldn't gain power.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2003 It's funny, the first way that I ever learned about Idi Amin was in a porno that I had seen when I was really young. There was a scene that had a black guy having sex with a white girl in a bathroom, and she kept calling him Idi Amin. It seemed like such a random porno name that I did some research and found out who he really was. I wish I still had that movie ... I'd break it out now in memoriam for him.
