Use Your Illusion Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 What price are they charging for the game over in the States? Here in Australia, PS2 games usually go brand new for about $100 or so, which is around $50 US. However, all Aussie stores allowing you to pre-order quote the game at $75, which is a fucking bargain considering what you get and what games are usually priced as. The same deal occurring over in Bush-Land?

Guest Trivia247 Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 geez when she picked up Lita to do whatever move that was, it looked like she was carrying her over the threshold.

dubq Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 (edited) Guranteed a copy is just wrong though...they always have 150 copies of any new game at Best Buy or Wal Mart for me... Well, I don't know about you, but I prefer being able to pre-order from a specialty shop and getting a bit of a discount when the game comes in, myself. I can't believe that you're arguing pre-ordering as "wrong" - how ass-backwards can you get? Getting a voicemail to tell me that the game is in and there's a copy waiting for me to pick up beats the hell out of having to go to the store and find out that all the copies sold out as I was at work that day. The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 I preorder everything I buy. I preorder games that I know NO ONE else would bother preordering. My system is: I set aside some cash every week, then I go to EB Games and throw down more money on some stuff I have reserved...then when they call to say it's in...I don't have to go looking for 50 bucks, because I've already thrown down a bunch. Not only don't I have to remember when everything comes out (cause I buy a lot of games) but I don't really have to worry about paying for them.
dubq Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Oh, but bps, pre-ordering "makes no sense!" Didn't you hear?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 This thread reminded me to go take care of some business. I finished paying off Rainbow Six 3 for Xbox and put down half the money for SD.

Anakin Flair Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Trivia, I just got to say that the pic of RVD in your sif is AWESOME.
Guest Choken One Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 *slaps head* How can I forget The Game and Austin? Val Venis made the games? Bullshit...and it's appros that Vince is last...
BifEverchad Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 I wonder how Ultimo will fair in the game? Will he have a disappointing, good, great or amazing moveset? He was great in WCW/nWo Revenge. Probably my favorite character actually. But again, that was 5 years ago.....and WCW.
BifEverchad Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 I also have to say, GOLDBERG looks the best in the game thus far.
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Going back to using In Game Models for the Vs. screen is a move I very much approve of.
BifEverchad Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Going back to using In Game Models for the Vs. screen is a move I very much approve of. Me too. It's the little things like that, that improve the game so much.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Damn, she looks as hot in the game as she does in real life... Anyway, movies aren't working for me, did Victoria, Stacy, and Trish keep their licensed music? *crosses fingers
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Look at the EC match. Kurt Angle Undertaker Goldberg HHH RVD and TEST
Use Your Illusion Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Look at the EC match. Kurt Angle Undertaker Goldberg HHH RVD and TEST I was waiting for someone to mention that. Everything in that photo works just fine...except for Test. However, the thought of suplexing the shit out of Test in an Elimination Chamber with Kurt Angle seems all too appealing. UYI
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Test's video game counterpart should be like Hacksaw Jim Duggan except before every move he screams "WHOOOOOORRRRREEEE" instead of "HOOOOO" That is the only way I'd accept him in the company of the people he is in that picture.
Guest Askewniverse Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Anyway, movies aren't working for me, did Victoria, Stacy, and Trish keep their licensed music? *crosses fingers Trish has her theme, but Vicky and Stacy don't.
Insane Bump Machine Posted October 15, 2003 Author Report Posted October 15, 2003 Anyway, movies aren't working for me, did Victoria, Stacy, and Trish keep their licensed music? *crosses fingers Trish has her real music, Victoria and Stacy don't. Victoria's videos are from an earlier build though, so there's at least a small chance that they change it to Tatu. But I wouldn't count on it. Why don't the videos work for you, btw? Remember that you need the Quicktime Player.
dubq Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Anyway, movies aren't working for me, did Victoria, Stacy, and Trish keep their licensed music? Victoria's sounds like the same instrumental version they used in WMXIX. But, really, how much can it cost to license bad Russian Euro-dance-pop?
