Guest SteveyP93 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 As a part of the SummerSlam travel packages, I attended a meet and greet session with the superstars this morning. My impressions: People who did not want to be there: -D-Von Dudley - silent as can be -Christian - obviously bitter about not being booked (when someone asked if he would be on Heat, he replied "I have no idea what is going on" in ultra bitter fashion) -Stacy Kiebler - verbally wishing the session was later in the day so she could sleep -Billy Gunn - The human yawn machine Indifferent: -Rhyno - made a funny joke about how the only wrestling Christian would be doing would be with some men in his hotel room. -Hurricane - nice but quiet. Class Acts: - Bubba Dudley - always willing to talk - Rey Mysterio - Genuine. - John Cena - Looked like he was truly happy to be there. Accepted a hat from a fan and promised to wear it on camera, and looked like he actually appreciated all compliments (I made sure to tell him that it was a shame he didn't have a match) - Torrie Wilson - very polite...and gladly posed for a picture with me. Ill be headed over to the arena in a few hours, sitting front row. Hope the four of you who are ordering the show enjoy it.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted August 24, 2003 It seems the Dudleys are never equally Happy or Bitter...It's always one this way and the other is the other way...
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Did you mention to Cena that he's the future of the business? Because apparently he is. Bubba was nice? From everything I've read and what not he's the King Prick of the wrestling kingdom.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 It's funny how most of the people there aren't even on the card.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Bubba was nice? From everything I've read and what not he's the King Prick of the wrestling kingdom. Refer to Choken's post - this is the first recorded instance of D'Von not being cordial and inviting towards the fans...and vice versa with Bubba.
Adam 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Well apparently Bubba was a prick in Aus, and I have heard on numerous occasiuons that he is a great guy. Mood swings?

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted August 24, 2003 I know I get upset when customers try to mob me outside of my job for my autographs or at least an acknowledgement of their adulation for me...
Guest The Old Me Report post Posted August 24, 2003 It must be 'If he's being paid, he'll be nice' Yep. I've met him more than once and he was a REAL ass.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Did you mention to Cena that he's the future of the business? Because apparently he is. I'm sure he's aware of that already. Cole says it in every one of his matches. I wonder if he was asked why he was left off the SS card when he just came off pinning Taker twice, and is supposedly going to feud with Angle. Christian seems like such a miserable bastard off-camera.
Mole 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2003 He might be the future, but he has to work on his ring skills a little.
