Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 That was Randy White's nickname when he played for the Cowboys. Can't the WWE think of something originial.
jester 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Vince is a moron. VIAM. It is truly the answer to everything. I think the same person who came up with "Ruthless Aggression" came up with this one. You know, that phrase that really rolls off the tongue and caught on like fire. I think WWE hired the marketing genius who came up with New Coke.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Yes, Tazz has been calling Brock a "Manster" from some time, but it has always been "that crazy thing Tazz says"... now we have it seemingly become the official nickname of Brock Lesnar...
Guest undisputedjericho Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Well, they continue to call Kane the "Big Red Machine" despite the fact that the only red he wears now is about three stripes on his all-black outfit. Darren Drozdov's "Puke" never caught on. Then they just called him Droz or The Droz. I also thought that "Cerebral Assasin" lost its edge when Austin would outwit HHH night in and night out, and "Bionic Redneck" was just lame.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 I for one always hated when Cole would say "The Rookie" John Cena. Never just Cena, always "The Rookie" John Cena.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 I prefer the term "rookiekid" as they are the two most common words Cole would use in a match involving someone like Orlando Jordan, John Cena, Randy Orton, etc.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 I love (and by love I mean hate) when Cole calls someone a kid. Usually, the 'kid' looks older than Cole himself. I remember when he called Edge a kid once.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 I love it cause it's as if Cole is the grizzled vet who's seen and done in all in this thing called professional wrestling... Which we all know he's not.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Not a nickname, but whenever Tazz says Here Comes the Pain, Im reminded of the sign a few weeks back and must complete it.. "in the ass!" Admittedly it sounds really stupid, but I say it at 1 or 2 am and no one else is around so I could care less.

Now you know the WWE brass is screwed up.
Ultra Violence 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Lets just think of it this way...if HHH/Steph don't have kids, its only another 30 years of them on TV. or less when they fall out and get divorced
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 The Hulkster The Dudester The Funkster .. by those three as examples, I think it should be the Brockster instead.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 The MANSTER~!! Brock's face makes it look more like a hamster is up his ass, not attached to his body.
Tawren 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Millenium Man for Goldberg and Sid Vicious just sucked. Total Package Lex Luger was lame too. And what the hell is a DogFaced Gremlin?
Guest The Rising Star Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Since we're on the subject of nicknames, didn't WWF get sued by the company that made the movie "Mad Max"? Because of the Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal).

BUt they never got sued in the NWA or AWA as the Road Warriors (infinitely cooler name BTW)

Guest netslob Report post Posted August 29, 2003 "Manster", huh? i'm guessing it's supposed to be combining "man" and "monster", but sounds ridiculous...back to the drawing board. remember the McMahon-Helmsly "Facgime"? i'd like to personally pistol whip the person(s) who came up with that... Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted August 29, 2003 ... "Manster?" "Manster"!?!?!?!??!? What the FUCK? Jesus CHRIST, they ARE trying to kill Brock's heat. I've heard Cole say that a few times lately.

Um, I think Edge came up with the Facgime after he and Christian argued over whether it was a regime or a faction.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted August 29, 2003 Toothless Aggression, anyone? At first I thought it would go away, until I saw that it's now on Benoit's tights. That's just sad. Also.... World's Strongest Man, even though Mark Henry never actually won the real WSM contest, and even if he did, they have a new one every year and his "win" would have been like six years ago. Millenium Man Sid Vicious. What was that supposed to mean exactly? I always thought Excellence of Execution was stupid.

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted August 29, 2003 The "factime" was supposed to be E & C being corny, though. It's not like they were ever introduced as "The McMahon-Helmsley Factime."
