WWE to release a "CLASSIC SERIES" on DVD/VHS

I hope they use the format which was used on the Hardcore DVD. And not do the BS which was used in the Rey Mysterio DVD with them opening the feature with Rey at the hospital so they can further sell the "injury" from Albert. I hope WWE will not have the wrestlers in character the during the whole DVD.

 

Flair needs to get the Mick Foley treatment but never speak of his Evolution days outside of the one good match vs HHH that had the big celebration.

DVD sales are huge for lots of companies, WWE included. It's suprising they haven't aggressively marketed/produced them yet.

I'd be fairly surprised if there was a strong consumer market, that would motivate the Home Video department to manufacture more of these products. The releases do sell well, but the avenue they're marketing to is still a VERY narrow fanbase and hard to manuever in - without failing, that is.

WWE videos have consistently been the highest selling sports/recreational videos not exercise-related.
