Bored 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 This was stolen off the Wiener Board which stolen off the A1 Message Boards from somebody who got the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week: - Goldberg to win title at Unforgiven - Orton to face Michaels at Unforgiven - HHH to regain title at Survivor Series - At about that time, HHH turns face, since he gets mostly cheers anyway (yeah, being booked as Superman does that) - Face HHH aligned with face Flair - HHH feuds with Randy Orton to pull him up to that level - Orton the leader of a new young heel stable (foreshadowed with the talk of cockiness on Maven's part Monday night on commentary, as Maven is a leading candidate for the new group) - Orton's push patterned after the Rock's (third generation similarities, plus Rock broke out after telling Faarooq to "know your role" in NOD and it will be similar between Orton and HHH)"

KingPK 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 A face Flair? Fuck that. And I don't think they're gonna catch lightning in a bottle twice regarding Orton.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Ok, who here DIDN'T think that HHH would win the title back almost as soon as he lost it, only this time having a run as a face? Who here DIDN'T think that HHH would feud with Orton before the end of the year? Hell, who here DOESN'T think that it's quite possible that Orton will be the World Champion by the end of the year? Guest Ecto Cooler Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Hell, who here DOESN'T think that it's quite possible that Orton will be the World Champion by the end of the year? If he wins it, he would be the perfect guy for RVD to go over for the title at Mania. Hey, I can dream.

slimm44 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 I wish they (WWE) would see how well Jericho did with the belt. After his loss against HHH, he never got a single chance to get it back

CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Don't you people see? If HHH is a face, he'll be the one who finally destroys (or beats) the monster Kane. I don't see why they don't do Goldberg winning next month, Kane winning at SS and then a face Triple H winning back the title. I don't want to see that, but in the direction they're going, it makes the most sense.

Bored 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Obviously this won't all end up being 100% true but the one good thing about this is that at least HHH won't be going to Smackdown and staying the hell away from the Kurt Angle and the REAL World Title.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted August 31, 2003 - Orton the leader of a new young heel stable (foreshadowed with the talk of cockiness on Maven's part Monday night on commentary, as Maven is a leading candidate for the new group) good lord. Maven's so bad he out-Orton's Orton. The sad thing about a HHH face turn is after he beats Kane and Orton he'll have to bury Jericho again.
Guest rawmvp Report post Posted August 31, 2003 So, this means at Survivor Series we'll see: Vince McMahon vs. Undertaker - Buried Alive Match Triple H vs. Goldberg or Triple H vs. Kane or Triple H vs. Goldberg vs. Kane - World Fake Title Kurt Angle vs. Brock III or Kurt Angle vs. Eddy Guerrero Randy Orton vs. Mick Foley Damn, another Big Four PPV down the toilet

Maven's so bad he out-Orton's Orton. The sad thing about a HHH face turn is after he beats Kane and Orton he'll have to bury Jericho again. Why does everyone hate Maven so much? He's not bad, he's just completely non-descript and needs character and a direction. Hell, compared to most of the Raw roster he's above average.
Guest Bobby Cox is God Report post Posted August 31, 2003 I don't respect Maven because he didn't pay his dues. He won his right to be a wrestler on a reality show? I think that just sucks.

Guest Ram Report post Posted August 31, 2003 - HHH to regain title at Survivor Series - At about that time, HHH turns face, since he gets mostly cheers anyway (yeah, being booked as Superman does that) ... Are we ever going to get a break from HHH? I mean, honestly, I'd be happy for ANYBODY to win the championship now. I'm so sick of HHH.

Where have you been? The only "dues" that matter in this company is whether or not you're doing the boss' daughter.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted August 31, 2003 - Well there goes the belief that the title would go HHH --> Goldberg --> Kane --> HHH (Face) - Flair would carry HHH as a face. - They haven't got a hope in hell with Orton if thats the plan. - Maven's hardly a replacement for HHH. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 (edited) NONE of this (with the *possible exception* of the first two, Goldberg getting the title and HBK/Orton at Unforgiven, but I only say that because I knew those two already so I dont remember if I read that online first or in the WON), was in the wrestling observer newsletter. Its possible I missed it somewhere, so if you know where it was, let me knwo and I can check it, but I read all the WWE sections (since its the only part that interests me), and i heard nothing of this stuff. I'm referring to the one dated August 25th 2003. I dont think any has come after that yet. Unless its from the new one (doesnt it usually come Monday)??? edit looknig at the dates, I guess it is indeed possible that someone got the new one (to be dated September 1, 2003) a little early. In which case, my post means exactly dick!!! Edited August 31, 2003 by metr0man

Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 I'm all for a Maven push. He didn't pay his dues? Okay so maybe he didn't have to toil around the indys, but he did have to work his ass off to outshine the other competition, work his ass off in OVW?HWA for about a year and half, then when he comes back, he basically becomes a jobber, but one that still gets over with the crowd and puts on decent to good matches. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Maven's just too bland for me, although I do like his theme music. Well, yeah, I admit that much. He's not too bad in the ring either. He mostly stuck with what he could do, and worked up from there. He's been paying his dues--hell, Triple H took the time out of his busy schedule to go on HEAT and squash him, so he must have something to him. Trips just doesn't give that honor to just anyone, you know.
