Bad Blood the crappiest PPV ever?

Backlash was by far the worst PPV this year so far. The only good match on the card that I can remember was the WWE tag team title match between Team Angle and the Guerreros.

 

As far as the crappiest PPV ever goes, look no further then the 1995 King of the Ring. There was absolutely no good matches on the entire card. IMO, it was the worst PPV that I have ever seen.

I dunno --- WCW's PPV's before the Bisso era in 2000 weren't afraid to suck the meat missile with some serious gusto.

 

Heck, the WCW PPV's from after Slamboree 1999 until about Slamboree 2000 were all pretty much suckfests (with Mayhem being a debatable exception).

 

And let's not even get into how bad the last ECW PPV was.

 

Badd Blood, I have no doubt, was not good (I have not seen a PPV since WM 19 and don't feel too bad about it) --- but it takes something special to really be placed in the upper echelons of suckitude.

90% of the roster dogging/half-assing their matches at GAB 91 earns the title of worst PPV ever.

 

WWF wise, KOTR 95. I honestly cant remember a thing from any of the matches in terms of offense except UT jobbing to a kick and leg drop. A KICK AD LEG DROP! The undead unstoppable Undertaker loses to a kick.

I thought Bad Blood had a great match with Flair vs. Michaels, but didn't live up to expectations. Its just that this PPV had so many screwups and clusterfucks, that I thought it was the CRAPPIEST PPV ever. Backlash is the worst this year though. And I've never seen KOTR 95, so deem me the savior of lost souls, who fell into temptation and watched that, as I'm being told, horrible PPV.

It was the one where Flair had just left the company and Luger faced Barry Windham for the Western States ... oops, WCW World Title in a tepid cage match.

 

Horrid card with no matches being worth watching again --- outside of the comedy value.

Havoc's were usually mediocre-decent. I don't remember a Havoc, outside of 1999 and 2000, that I found actively bad.

Never seen that --- but it does seem a little unfair.

 

It takes a special company to put on a crap PPV and then live to put on MORE shows that were even WORSE.

Bischoff was just an interview guy at GAB 91. Also, why is there no mention of KOTR 99? I mean, SHIT... the only *decent* match involved both male members of the McMahon clan and the worst match featured like a 4 minute choke spot.

 

On Bad Blood 2003, I can't really remember any match striking me as being anywhere near "average".

Havoc 1998 was the good one with the exception of Hogan / Warrior II.

 

In KOTR 95's defense, Holly / Roadie was pretty good and I have to give credit to Savio Vega for wrestling FOUR matches in one night.

Uncensored 95 was a pretty damn bad pay-per-view that doesn't get many mentions these days. Not to mention the fact that the concept was a southern fried rip-off of ECW who was hot at the time. Dustin Rhodes vs. The Blacktop Bully in the back of a moving truck in broad daylight despite the fact that the match was supposedly live at 8:15pm (Bully bladed without permission and got fired to add to the fun), Meng vs Hacksaw in a martial arts match, Randy Savage vs. Earthquake, Sting vs. The Bossman, a DREADFUL encounter between Harlem Heat and The Nasty Boys, and Hogan vs. Vader in the YAPAPI STRAP MATCH. The only redeeming thing about the show was Arn Anderson vs. Johnny B Badd. Combining all of the ratings from Scott Keith's rant on the event (sue me, I was too lazy to go back and watch myself) the show takes home a net -**.
