Guest Italian Stallion Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Jeepers Creepers 2 was crap. Im not suprised though. Also looks like they were succesful in getting The Italian Job over the 100 million mark.
Guest David Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 HOLY SHIT Pirates of the caribbean is 4th
Guest Italian Stallion Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 That movie is gonna hit 300 million by the time it gets off the top ten list.
NYU Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Very happy S.W.A.T. passed the $100 million mark and looks to still be going pretty strong. Really liked that movie.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Whoa, FvJ took a huge dive. Doesn't matter. An R Rated Horror flick making 40 mil it's first week is unheard of. I assure you, New Line is very pleased.
Guest wwF1587 Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 how the fuck did freaky friday gain two spots? i guess it would be cause of the labor day weekend and family stuff.... but damn... the movie is ok but nothing to write about..
cabbageboy Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean has awesome staying power. Good to see Johnny Depp finally star in something that hits at the box office. Has anyone besides me noticed that the previews for Once Upon a Time in Mexico feature him more than Antonio Banderas....and it's an El Mariachi movie! With F vs. J I think most people who were eager to see already have. Hence the dive.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Open Range made MORE this week than last week
NYU Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Well, this report is for a 4-day weekend, correct?
razazteca Posted September 2, 2003 Report Posted September 2, 2003 SWAT was the best cop movie I have seen this year.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted September 2, 2003 Report Posted September 2, 2003 Well, this report is for a 4-day weekend, correct? It's still amazing. Look at Freddy vs. Jason last week to this week. They opened the same day.
Guest El Satanico Posted September 2, 2003 Report Posted September 2, 2003 SWAT was the best cop movie I have seen this year. That's not saying much...
Vyce Posted September 2, 2003 Report Posted September 2, 2003 VERY glad I am to see "Pirates" still going strong. It deserves it. "FvJ" has absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed about. I've heard that it only cost around 30 to 40 million to make, and it'll likely draw in around 90 million domestically when it's all said & done.
Youth N Asia Posted September 2, 2003 Report Posted September 2, 2003 I laughed my ass off about Creepers...the director was doing some interview about how Creepers was going to kick FvsJ's ass this week cause it's a better movie, and cause the creeper is better then Freddy or Jason. Yet doesn't mention that Freddy vs Jason has already been out a couple weeks and made most of its money and that not much else opened this week. Freddy vs Jason owns the Creeper...and I'll wait to download it cause the first one sucked so bad.
