Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Of those here who watch the show, Is Micheal Irvin driving anyone else nuts? I cannot stand him as a studio guy. He's so damn annoying sounding and his voice sounds gimmicky. Because of him, I don't believe I can stand to watch this show anymore.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 I stopped being able to watch that show awhile ago. I can almost barely watch the ESPN recap show on Sundays.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 What happened to Sterling Sharpe?!? Steve Young!?! Blah...Irvin sucks but I can stand it since it doesn't have Berman(Stuart Scott took his place it seems...at least today's)
razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Michael Irvin is better than fellow ex-cowboys at the announcer booth. Troy Aikman sounds like Hank Hill and Deion Sanders has a more gimmicky voice than Irvin. Well ESPN is back at hyping the best 0-4...0-8....team in the league. Go Rams~
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 1, 2003 I had no problem with any of the ESPN NFL guys until this year. This year they added Bryan Cox and Irvin...I can't stand either. I don't like Cox because his opinions often show that he has no clue about players he doesn't know from his playing career. Irvin is just flat out annoying. Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 B.D.S.S.P. Irvin > Arena Football League Irvin > ESPN Monday Night Countdown Irvin.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Does Irvin actually announce games? I'm sure he'd be better than Aikman...who isn't. Irvin has seemingly replaced Sterling, which sucks because I liked Sterling.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 The Tom Arnold show is indeed the Best Damn Sport Show Period, but when they change the line up, it started to suck when Salley, Kruk, D'Marco left.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted September 1, 2003 I don't know what you guys are talking about. Michael Irvin has been hilarious during the whole show.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 ^Agreed. Irvin brings something new to the show.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 Everyone seems to love Berman, but I think he is rather annoying. He should be used exclusively on highlights cause all he is, is a soundbyte guy, however when the anaylists are discussing stuff, Berman never has anything to add, he just sits there waiting to cue up another, "he could go all the waaay" soundbyte. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 Has anyone really liked Berman for a while? It seems that people like him for the first year or two they watch him, then they turn.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I think I quit caring during the Ben Winter Coat days or during the time he was doing the half time show for MNF.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I actually still like Berman, but he's not really on that much now.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I like Irvin. I also thing BDSS is still good even with the original four not there. It's just a good show.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 Sean Salisbury is by far the worst analyst on ESPN. He comes off has really full of himself. How Salisbury became Sports Centers top NFL analyst is beyond me.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I really have no use for John Clayton. He comes off as pompus and often jumps on either the bandwagon or hatewagon very easily.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 John Clayton is the man yo. And he knows his shit.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 2, 2003 Rather Salisbury is full of himself or not it doesn't really effect his analyst. He usually seems fair and honest when it comes to the analysing. Now Bryan Cox...he's awful. If it's not a Saints player, a friend of his or a major star player he acts like he's never heard of the guy and blows them off. He reminds me of the fantasy football players who only draft name players and players from their favorite team.
Guest Deebo Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I like Irvin on there. He brings something new to the show, Tom Jackson and Jaws never really say anything out of the box.. they kind of just go with the PC thing and don't try to ruffle any feathers. Not saying Irvin is some wild and crazy guy on there or anything, but he brings some different opinions.
