Justice 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 N00BIE MATCH Brian Bowers vs. Tommy Nguyen vs. Craig McLennan - Bowers, though it'll be a treat if either of the other two show as well. #1 CONTENDERSHIP - SJL EUROPEAN & TELEVISION TITLES Jay Morrison vs. Dominic Korgath - Hm.... Morrison, though Korgath has the talent to start doing damage. SJL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix © vs. Brian Kingsmen - Brian had a pretty good match on Metal, but Maddix = Justice and Rule. But I definitely could see Maddix moving beyond this title soon enough... SINGAPORE CANE MATCH "Canadian Thunder" Chris Trepanier vs. Todd Royal - Kaine is alive!? OMG! And Todd damn if Royal isn't back. I say Royal, because he's a very good writer and more consistant than I've ever seen Kaine be. HIGH STAKES TWO FALL MATCH SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP English Dragon © vs. Apostle - Hmm.... Tough. Very tough. Honestly Dragon got a really shitty stick when it came to drawing stuff in the WF Tourney, and I only barely (I still can't believe I did it) edged him out of a win. I think he's the more developed writer at the moment, and he'll drop the Euro while taking a shot at the World. MAIN EVENT NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Viktor Tarakanov © vs. Tryst vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins - Feel the OOC Hate~! Spike is just coming back, so he may be a bit rusty. I honestly hope that Tryst shows up. Vik is doing very good with his current gimmick, but I'm disappointed he didn't show up on Metal. Anyways... I think Vik will take it, though Jenkins holds a very good chance with his good 'ole lovable stoner persona.
Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 N00BIE MATCH Brian Bowers vs. Tommy Nguyen vs. Craig McLennan - Bowers, or whoever shows I guess. #1 CONTENDERSHIP - SJL EUROPEAN & TELEVISION TITLES Jay Morrison vs. Dominic Korgath - I'll take Dominic SJL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix © vs. Brian Kingsmen - Maddix SINGAPORE CANE MATCH "Canadian Thunder" Chris Trepanier vs. Todd Royal - Great to see Todd back, and I see him picking this one up. HIGH STAKES TWO FALL MATCH SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP English Dragon © vs. Apostle - Very very tough match for me. No predict, but should be close either way. MAIN EVENT NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Viktor Tarakanov © vs. Tryst vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins - Have to see Vik retaining if he shows
Guest Korgath Report post Posted September 5, 2003 N00BIE MATCH Brian Bowers vs. Tommy Nguyen vs. Craig McLennan -I remember losing my first match because it was a triple threat debut. Let's hope I'm the exception to the rule. #1 CONTENDERSHIP - SJL EUROPEAN & TELEVISION TITLES Jay Morrison vs. Dominic Korgath -Hmmm... I've already made Morrison look like a sucka a coupla' weeks back... go me! =P SJL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix © vs. Brian Kingsmen - Tough choice, but I don't see Maddix retaining. Kingsmen has what it takes to make it far. You go. SINGAPORE CANE MATCH "Canadian Thunder" Chris Trepanier vs. Todd Royal -This will be fun, no doubt about it. HIGH STAKES TWO FALL MATCH SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP English Dragon © vs. Apostle -Apostle to become the new European Champ and Dragon to challenge the Russkie! MAIN EVENT NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Viktor Tarakanov © vs. Tryst vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins -Major mark out for Spike, once again, but I don't see anyone taking the belt off Vik until he gets bumped. Above Average 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 N00BIE MATCH Brian Bowers vs. Tommy Nguyen vs. Craig McLennan I don't know as much as I did about a month and a half ago about the JL but Craig McLennan seems like the favorite to me. I don't know if Nguyen writes and since Bowers is a n00b, I can't make a pick here. Winner: Can't pick #1 CONTENDERSHIP - SJL EUROPEAN & TELEVISION TITLES Jay Morrison vs. Dominic Korgath Korgath is skilled and makes me think he's done this before. No-showing, being a trait of returning veterans. That said, while I liked reading Morrison's last match. I think the Dominator will get this win. Winner: Korgath SJL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix © vs. Brian Kingsmen Landon Maddix has some definite skill and I think he will hold onto the TV title. I wish I had more to say but I don't. Winner: La Cucaracha SINGAPORE CANE MATCH "Canadian Thunder" Chris Trepanier vs. Todd Royal !!! JAKE'S writing. This is very interesting and could be a good match-up for the two. Last time I saw, Royal was a face by default, so he gets the pick because the face always goes over, damnit. That's why I'm a face... for now! Winner: Todd damn HIGH STAKES TWO FALL MATCH SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP English Dragon © vs. Apostle English Dragon in my opinion, will win this match. I see Apostle settling in the Euro division until a bump, when a slot or two may open up in the ME scene. Winner: English Dragon MAIN EVENT NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Viktor Tarakanov © vs. Tryst vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Tryst if he writes. Tarakanov most likely, but I actually think Hollywood could get the title, since he might actually show for this one. This gets the Drew Kelk prediction, not that you guys know what that is anyway... HIGH STAKES TWO FALL MATCH SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP English Dragon © vs. Apostle - Dragon, on the basis of being uber1337.
