Guest MikeSC Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Ok not that it has much to do with anything, but I read it at Blabbermouth and I thought of this place. It's another example of a celebrity running his ignorant mouth about shit he dosesn't understand (although in this case, I don't think he can be considered a celebrity, who's heard of "six feet under"?) SIX FEET UNDER Singer: GEORGE BUSH Gets Off On Killing People - Sep. 4, 2003 SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes recently spoke to Pitriff.com about his views on the last U.S. Presidential election. "I didn't vote for [Al] Gore, I'll be the first one to say that," he said. "But I'll tell you what. If the Democrats were still in… Listen, what did we have to worry about when Clinton was in office? Him getting a blowjob? He gets off on sex. I'd rather have someone in office getting off on sex than getting off on killing people, and George Bush is known to do that. He's enjoyed killing people in Texas on death row, and now he's going and killing people over there, and no one really gives a fuck. Let's be realistic about it and not just take one point of view. I don't think there's too much difference between the Democrats and the Republicans, but what I do know is that election was fixed. It's obvious. It's so obvious that people are afraid to question." When asked why he thinks that people didn't challenge the election results, Barnes said, "[it was] because Republicans have such a stronghold in our country right now that it's a one party system, if you look at it. I don't think there's any way to foil that, really. Even when the Democrats are going after them heavy, it's still a situation where the Democrats are just a lighter version of the Republicans. I can handle that, but I can't handle fascism disguised as democracy. As we are right now, we are basically a monarchy. This is the son of a former president. That's basically royalty in office. You've got someone that is going out into foreign lands that are weaker than us and taking their natural resources. That's not what this country is built upon. This country is against that from the beginning. Our constitution was built against any kind of foreign government ruling from a distant shore and overtaxing us and taking our natural resources. So that's basically it. He's marred our country, and that's where I stand on it." What a scholar... You want irony? I get off on good music. Obviously, I have never heard of this crap band. -=Mike --- Heck, I don't even like HBO's series with the same name
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted September 7, 2003 *Not* doing anything after the 1st WTC bombing. *Not* doing anything after the Cole was bombed. Yeah, when your enemy is trying to ignite a war between the Islamic and Western worlds, it's an important thing to give him what he's aspiring for. Take that as a criticism of Bush's actions, but not a defense of Clinton's non-actions. So, the way to world peace is to let people kill us off while we do nothing? Man, peace is overrated. -=Mike
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Agent, I think you underestimate death metal's popularity. Need I remind you that metal is one of the predominant POPULAR forms of music in Europe and Japan (and Japan's population is larger than that of the United States)? BWA HA HA HA! Japan's population is greater than the U.S? Umm, OK. -=Mike

Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Do you people feverishly sift through the internet every day to find interviews where members of the entertainment industry criticise the US government just so you can wank off while raging righteously about how dumb you think these people are? Its fucking ridiculous. From Johnny Depp to a death metal singer, what's next - OMG TEH LOCAL VILLAGE MIME OF SHITKICKER MISSOURA SAID BUSH IS A POOPY HEAD, STUPID FUCK CLOWN. Cue 1052 replies full of vigorous condemnation.
Firestarter 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Hamburglar has a point. These articles can hardly be considered newsworthy.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 I'm just amazed that half of these movie "stars" are able to stop sniffing a line of coke of a dead prostitue's stomach to actually give an opinion on politics. However.... Robbins should be shot.

Ooops, I offended CWM. Not exactly a difficult task, admittedly. I listened to what was exactly being said. If they want a war, we shouldn't give it to them, rather than the more logical, if they want a war, make them regret ever wanting one. -=Mike
