You don't give a shit about history? That makes you lazy. Your laziness makes you look uneducated. And because you keep calling everyone ignorant sluts, it proves how lazy you really are. At least come up with a new insult each post.

And you called me Binky.

Thats terrible.

You're opinion is automatically disqualified.

This is exactly this stuff that is unnecessary that I am talking about!

On ESPN right now they are doing this whole story on this "legend" that needed a heart transplant to live. Well the plane carrying his heart passed one of the planes highjacked on 9/11. Also the Ambulance, or whatever vehicle was carrying the heart was one of the last vehicles allowed over the George Washington Bridge before closing on 9/11. What does this matter? ESPN took at least 10 minutes for this story and for what? Nothing more then a good example of the old 6 degrees of separation of Kevin Bacon bit.

Geez! This day is getting as bad as Christmas is at being commercialized.

Geez! This day is getting as bad as Christmas is at being commercialized.

Go away.

When they start offering "Merry 9-11 Day!" shits and shit for sale then come back and complain about it being "commercialized".

Other than being covered on the news, what in the hell is "commercialized" about it, other than stuff with USA or the flag on it?

It was an analogy DH. Comparing the over coverage of 9/11 to the over commercialization of Christmas.

Actually it was dead on. You're just too stupid to realize it.

The more he argues the better it gets...

Classic in a "boy this is so bad its good" kind of way

I don't think its that deep of a concept, so don't go flattering yourself by thinking you're clever. I understand what you're trying to say, you just aren't intelligent enought to convey it without sounding like a knob. Saying 9-11 is becoming commercialized like Christmas sounds pretty ridiculous. Are companies benefitting from 9-11? Just because there are a few sappy stories on ESPN doesn't equate to the day becoming commercialized.

They played a disturbing musical montage on the radio today, not sure what the song's name was but it was a pretty big hit a few years ago:

Enter Life (Night)??

As I travel far and wide...

Tears rolled down...

The World I know....

Anyway during the song they were playing the victems screams and cries and I found it distasteful - and it takes a lot to offend me

I

am

not

comparing

them.

Get it! I was merely comparing the extent of the two, not a direct comparison. It has nothing to do with commercialization. You call me a knob, yet you can't get it through your thick skull what I am actually saying.

What are you fucking smoking? There isn't any comparison...at all. Thats what I am saying. Lets get this out in the open.

No, we should not stop talking about 9-11.

Yes, it is important to do talk and remember the people who died and why it happened.

No, there isn't anything wrong with telling a few heart warming stories on such a gloomy anniversary.

Yes, you sound like a complete knob starting any thread about hearing about too much 9-11, especially when most networks scaled back their coverage about it from the last anniversary.

No, there isn't *1* single characteristic that Christmas and 9-11 share. In no way do they have ANYTHING in common. The extent or whatever, there isn't any comparison or connection.

Whatever Banky. It isn't rocket science, but I guess one little analogy is too much for your tiny pea brain to understand. You ignorance boggles my mind to the extent of pain.

"The World I Know"

Has our conscience shown?

Has the sweet breeze blown?

Has all the kindness gone? (Horrific screams)

Hope still lingers on.

I drink myself of newfound pity

Sitting alone in New York City

And I don't know why. (More Screams)

Are we listening

To hymns of offering?

Have we eyes to see

That love is gathering? (Ahhhhhhhh)

All the words that I've been reading

Have now started the act of bleeding

Into one. (Towers fall, screams)

So I walk up on high

And I step to the edge

To see my world below.

And I laugh at myself

As the tears roll down.

'Cause it's the world I know.

It's the world I know. (25 cries of terror throughout)
