The One and Only...

Now I understand the fact that 9/11/01 was one of the darkest days in American history and that today is the anniversary, but damn. I think it's time we get on with our lives and stop harping on something that can't be changed.

I just wanted to quote it before he went back and edited his post.

9/11/00

I know The Cell was released, but I still wouldn't call it the darkest day in history.

Big fucking deal guys. I hit the wrong number, but my post still stands. And unless you are all more ignorant then I thought you get the point.

Yes, I'm pretty sure we got the point. I know you are pretty much 3 steps ahead of us on the food chain but we do generally have a pretty good grasp on generation defining moments. Sorry to inconvenience you.

Well until Iraq, Iran, Syria and the rest become commonwealths or states 51, 52, 53 nothing will change. Its not like the networks have anything worthy to report on tv.

Does that mean kids should stop taking history in school?

Well, in a class of 50, I'm one of three other kids that got a 4 on the exam, so I'm alright with it. Everyone else got 2's, with one person getting a 3. Somehow I managed to get lumped in with the smart kids.

Is that what I said AS? No, now if you have to take what I say out of context you are dumber then I thought.

So why should we forget about it? You were stupid enough to start a thread about it, so you damn well better be able to take the heat. And you typed in the wrong date to boot, you imbecile. Clearly, you need to be further educated on your dates. And shit, why should we forget about 9-11 yet learn about the Second World War? It is important to learn and remember these unfortunate events so that they don't happen again. It reaffirms the horror of the event, and how we should do everything possible to ensure it doesn't happen again. Moreover, it is an important day for 5,000 families who had loved ones die 2 years ago.

In your own little selfish world this may not be an important date, but for the rest of the world who stays conscious of their current events, its a very important anniversary to remember why this happened and how it should never happen again.

Banky you ignorant slut.

You are as bad as AS by taking what I said out of context. You were doing nothing more then putting words in my mouth. Go back and read my intial post again. That is what I meant, and nothing more or less.

You said you tired of people talking about it. They are pissing and moaning. We shouldn't worry about something we can't change.

Now read what I have to say.

Ignorant slut...? You slay me.
