Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 From WrestleView.com Channel 3 News in Cleveland interviewed The Macho Man yesterday. Savage is in Ohio for the Gravity Games and he promoted his CD on the newscast. He talked about his "Be a Man" single and how it is about Hulk Hogan. He said he hopes The Hulkster listens to the CD so he knows how much of a punk he is. Macho Man also challenged him to a match at WrestleMania XX in New York City. Savage said that if Hogan accepts, the match will be on! Why not Spider-Man, Randy? UYI
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Savage just needs to shut the fuck up, and realize his time past a LONG time ago. Even Hogan knows his bullshit.

iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I think it's pretty funny that Savage bashes Hogan every chance he gets, and he assumes that Hogan will do business with him at Mania 20 and it probably won't even do much to help the buyrate? And god forbid how much both of them will want to show up at it.

Vince had at least some taste at the time, because that's a damn good show. And Vince wasn't senile then, I guess.
jester 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 If they want to make it the true battle of the uncooperative past-their-prime-and-refuse-to-admit it egomaniacs, they should make it a three way dance between Hogan, Savage, and Warrior. That's what, $60 million in salaries for one match?

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Ok They can have their little match for about 5 minutes...then Heyman should come down with the temporaryly Hired.... 911! who chokeslams them all and then leaves

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 think of it either having testimonials between matches or even just a big drawn out event instead of it being like a gimmick battle royal, let it be just them together Hogan, Savage, Piper, Hart, Flair obviously, Iron Shiek, Volkoff, Steamboat, Honky Tonk, Rick Martel, etc etc and Vince comes down being his heel self...and they all kick his ass. Hitting their signature moves.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I personally say have the 10 biggest names in history from the start to end... Bruno Pedro Backlund Graham Hogan Savage Flair Hart (Maybe) Shawn (although he might be a part of the show) Austin (Same as Shawn) I'd Love if Shawn was a Heel at this time and He would be the last one to recieve his award or whatever...and he puts himself over in his over the top heel act...The Music Hits and Bret walks down the Aisle and Shawn shits himself... Bret enters the ring and shakes everyone's hands cept Shawn and smiles at him and grabs a mic and cuts a goodbye/thank you promo and ignores Shawn completely. Shawn throws a Hissy Fit and leaves...Smashing His Award to the ground... Later that night during his Match against...Either Jericho or Edge or someone with a connection to Bret... Bret comes out and He pulls a McMahon on Shawn and Shawn loses and Bret smiles as he raises Jericho/Edge's hand in victory...as the crowd chants "BRET!"... Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Well everytime I've heard the challenge thrown out, Savage has wanted it as a shoot match. Now be honest, if you got the chance to see Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan legit fight, wouldn't you be willing to drop a few dollars on that? I would, namely just because Savage seems legit out of his mind and Hogan's head would most likely be crushed within seconds.

That's kind of what I've been wanting to see, but it's so unlikely to happen. I do like the idea of 911 and Heyman coming down to interupt the Hogan/Savage match. Since they will bring Hogan in, I'd rather see Hogan/Austin.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I'm pretty sure Vince had already thought of this before Savagae said anything about it. The only reason he wouldn't have is because Vince has already decided that HE will face Hogan at WM20. I like the idea of the legends coming out, but why does Vince have to be involved? He would only put himself over in a promo, or possibly take one or all of them out with a chair.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I personally say have the 10 biggest names in history from the start to end... Bruno Doesn't Vince hate Bruno with a passion though? Or is it the other way around? I'm unfamiliar with WWWF history, so I do not know what circumstances led to Bruno's departure. I agree though, ANY legend ceremony at WM MUST involve Bruno. Since it would be a huge egofuck for everyone involved, I can't see Hogan or Savage turning that down. Or anyone else for that matter. UYI
jester 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Bruno Pedro Backlund Graham Hogan Savage Flair Hart (Maybe) Shawn (although he might be a part of the show) Austin (Same as Shawn) They'll have Randy Orton come out and give sloppy Diamond Cutters to every one of them to try to enforce his "legend killer" gimmick. And the crowd still won't give a shit about him.

Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted September 14, 2003 If this happens, i'm fucking there. I don't care about the suck the match will have-i just want to see Savage again. He's my all time favorite, the WM5 match is one of my all time favorites-it'd be worth it for me just for the markout value. So it'd be -***+, it's the last thing from Hogan i'd give a shit about...especially if Savage performs "Be A Man" live

He's bad now. Very, very bad. Bret is my all-time favourite, but if, by some chance, he decided to wrestle a match (not that he could, but hypothetically), I would be totally against it. I was also afraid HBK would completely fuck up his legacy when he returned, thankfully that wasn't the case. UYI
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I don't care about his appearance (i've seen the guy), i just would be stoked somewhat to see him again, at a WM no less. Besides, it would be against HOGAN. If it were against Flair, then i'd be pissed. EDIT: But just because i like the guy doesn't mean i want it to happen, it would just be cool if it did, imo
