I think Amy should do OK, even if the Texas Chainsaw sequel isn't the best sign.

*Begins writing a screenplay for Denisov, Marsters, and Fillion entitled "3 Men and a Baby: The Next Baby"*

Throw in Amy Acker and change the title to "3 Men and a Leggy Hottie", a romantic comedy which will include Amy in many short skirts :D

I'd rather have Jewel Staite in that role and call it "3 men and a Kaylee". But that changes everything around.

If it ain't a Joss Whedon project, none of these guys are really going to get work again unless Hollywood wakes up and smells the talent.

But Paul Walker and Tyrese CONTINUE to get movie roles.

That fact and reality TV is what is really, really, really wrong with Hollywood.

Oh and I was bored last night so I watched a bit of Summerland, the new show on the WB.

And wow, Angel gets canceled so shows like this can come in? Makes me so damn sad.

Lenk is in Emma's new movie, which means it's the best movie ever.

Selfless was on today. Easily one of the best eps of the season. I love Olaf!!!!!

I want a spin off with Xander, Andrew, Olaf and angel Anya.

I don't even mind anymore. Angel ended on such an unbelievably high note, anything after that would've been a let down. Season 6 just sounded...well, kinda weird.

"Not Fade Away" was a tremendous ending. Without an ending. Which is great.

EDIT: I love Selfless!

"That troll is doing an Olaf impersonation!"

"Hit him with fruits and various meats!"

"Your logic is insane and happenstance, it is like that of a troll."

The scene where Xander and Buffy fight over what to do about Anya is awesome. The hypocrisy there is pretty fascinating to think of. Xander complains that it's different if Buffy is sleeping with the bad guy, yet that's exactly what he's done too. The whole time he was hating on Spike in season 4, 5 and 6 for Spike's past he was with Anya. He never seems to care about her past. She isn't even sorry about it. You never see her show remorse, in fact she's often all nostalgic about it. Like killing men was the good old days. Yet it's never an issue. It's either not brought up at all, or is just a joke. Oh that wacky Anya, talking about killing people again! If Angel or Spike said stuff like that he'd never shut up about it. He doesn't give them a break even when they're all sorry and broody about their past.

I can't believe "Selfless" was Drew Goddard's first script, ever. It's so, so good. He even ties up loose ends from Season 2.

"Do you remember giving me Willow's message, 'Kick his ass'?"

"I never said that."

That part is great!

The only problems I have with the ep is the idea that Anya talked the way she does even as a human. I really don't see what they were going with that(besides a cheap laugh) and it completely goes against her mythos and charm. So she is just rude? That sucks.

I also hate how her story was never finished. Whatever happened to finding out who she really is? Is her true self "girl who sits on Buffy's couch, has break up sex and gets stabbed by Bringers"?

I really wish she had left Sunnydale to start a new life after talking with Xander. The fact that she is my favorite character and I'd be happier with her being written out like that in episode 5 is sad. It's no wonder Emma wanted out. They did this great ep about her and just went no where with it.

 Noooo. How can you say that? Nothing with so much Anya goodness can be overrated.

D'Hoffryn is always awesome(then again, so is Anya).

I like the "watercooler vengeance" line, about Warren.

My favorite all time D'Hoffryn moment is when he first asks Willow to join him, in Something Blue. I love how it plays the dramatic music and makes it seem like he's gonna be pissed when she refuses and he is just like "oh...well ok".

Clem saying he's about to mix up some country time has to be one of the best "demons talk like humans" quote ever.

I am starting to think you didn't watch too hard.

Remeber the WHOLE speech with Andrew right before they had the wheel chair fight in the hospital? That was it. That was the peak of her character. That speech gave definition to her entire character. That speech is what makes her death understandable and acceptable as her end. I know you didn't like it, but she came to the point where that is how Anya wanted to die.

Yeah, I think the plot would probably be D'Hoffryn getting tired of the politics behind the Vengeance game, so he starts his own secret society of hitmen - infact, they can call it "D'Hitmyn" - so you get to see Clem, TEMTUTBOMadTV, and Izzy dress up in black suits and have silencers and shit. Hey, maybe Lorne can make some cameos.

My favorite thing about Anya's death is that Andrew lies to Xander about how it happened.

After all the times they told him to stop telling stories...he finally figured out how to tell one in good nature.

You're going to have to let this go...I don't know how much depth of character you expect someone who has only been trying to find their identity and place in the world for a few months to have...but staying with the knowledge that you're probably going to die is pretty good progression.

Anything deeper would have been out of character anyway.

You don't think I want to let it go? I try to ignore it or think of how she died a hero or that her death means Andrew is still alive or something, but I keep coming back to it. I can't let it go. It sucks and it's unfair.

How would you feel if your favorite character ever was brutally killed all so that Joss could have his fantasy of killing a major character for shock value?

It's not like that brief scene with Andrew was the reason she died either. It was just added on. Joss just wanted to kill someone and she was chosen. I guess he doesn't care about her fans or something. Kinda like how the scoobies don't care about her either.

You all got your happy endings for Buffy and Angel. You're all sastified with how it ended. It's easy for you to say that scene with Andrew was enough, or that I should just get over it.

No, it's not cool. It's terrible. It's the worst thing about the Buffyverse. I hate it and I'll never get over it or forgive Joss.

It would only be cool if it was Rona.

I don't see how anyone could say it was worth it. A major character is dead, with little payoff or reason and all that was gained was shock and a "toll" for the battle. That is horrible. Joss has admitted he did it for those reasons.

Yeah, totally worth it there. I'm so glad my favorite is dead so that the Bringers and ubies could be put over. :(

No, it's not just a show.

I wouldn't care as much if she wasn't my favorite. But she is...so I'm upset.

I wasn't happy with how Buffy ended. I thought Chosen sucked. It ended the series ok, but I didn't think it was a very strong episode. Not Fade Away was one billion zillion gajillion times better.

But hey, someone had to die. Anya was pretty expendable, as far as the gang went. I thought Faith and Principle Wood would die too, but they were kept alive for whatever reason.

They could have had her leave to find herself. They could have killed her, but actually paid it off. She could have got with Xander again. I don't know. Anything is better than what we got.

Why did someone have to die?
