Good because I missed the first 4 episodes of Season 1.

Poor Angel...he was sent to Hell by his girlfriend and sent to the bottom of the ocean by his son and eventually he had to give up both of them. No wonder he's so depressing in the new season. Seriously...he's just so down and depressing this season that it's bugging me.

That is the whole point, in my opinion.

It is impossible for him to have a good life, even with his soul. That was the whole point of the gypsy curse was to make him sufer for the rest of his life, which is what is happening.

I was thinking we could have a Mod change the thread name to Angel and Buffy Thread. Since we talk about both shows and all.

Just a thought.

Yeah, the had a repeat of "Hellbound" on Wednesday, and afterwards they showed some clips for "Harm's Way". Harmony gets her own ep~! Also, at the end, it said "Coming soon: the 100th episode...Cordelia returns" and shows her waking up from coma. Awesome~

They have Angel on UPN in Rhode Island?

yeah, cable company doesn't carry WB so it's aired at a different time<namely Thursday at 10> on UPN

Now I need to figure out when it's on down here in West Palm Beach, FL as this cable company also doesn't carry WB

It might not, which would suck big time.

Trailer for Angel next week

TVGuide Preview for "Harm's Way"

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Keeping her job as Angel's assistant is the least of Harmony's worries when she wakes up with a dead vamp-bite victim in her bed and no memory of the previous night's events. And things go from bad to worse when the gang's investigation reveals that the dead guy was a demons' rights activist negotiating between two warring clans.

Maybe a spoiler, but this is from an article on Buffy.nu.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

The gang’s takeover of law firm Wolfram and Hart has proven more tedious than titillating, but the surprise reappearance of sexy (and tattooed) lawyer Lindsey looks promising and more reappearances will follow in the form of Cordelia (revived from her coma for a special February sweeps episode) and Willow.

If that is true, then sweetness all around.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Alexis Denisoff has been pushing for Alysson Hannigan to make an apperance so they could work together again.

Makes sense.

It's about two hours until the season premiere of Angel is on here in the UK and I have to say, I don't think I've been so anxious about a Buffy/Angel ep in quite some time. I'm really quite worried that I might not like it as much as previous seasons, I don't think I've ever seen so many mixed reviews. :(

From what I can tell based on my own experiences and reading other's reviews, here's probably how you'll react:

If season 4 was your favorite season of Angel, you'll most likely hate it.

If your favorite season was 1 or 2, you'll probably love it.

If you're a season 3 fan, well....I'm not sure.

Uh... I think I'd probably rate S4 as my favourite... oh dear. :(

I am flipping through the channels and I turn on Dawson's Creek. And who do I see? Mercedes McNab.

I never knew she was on Dawson's...

And the Addams Family movies!

Well, if the opening episode is anything to go by, I'll love this season.

One thing bugged me though, when Wes saw Spike, he gave a very reassured "Spike", like he'd met seen him before. Now admittedly he's a watcher and there isn't many bleach blonde vampires around but still, the tone didn't seem right. The fact that I nit-pick that, shows what a tight episode it was though.

Even though Wes used to be a horrible fighter, the man knew everything about vampires. Plus, I am sure somewhere off camera, he had a convo with someone in Sunnydale about Spike one way or another.
