WWE house show lineup changed

A look at this weekend's house show card changes...

 

- The main event for the MSG house show this weekend has been changed from Kurt Angle vs. The Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker to Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar in a Cage Match. The Undertaker & Chris Benoit will also face The Big Show & A-Train.

 

- Shelton Benjamin has been given the weekend off, possibly due to a leg injury that he suffered at the Smackdown taping last night. Charlie Haas will be working singles matches against Kidman.

 

- Ultimo Dragin is set to replace Billy Gunn on the weekend house shows. He will team with Jamie Noble. Gunn is suffering from a shoulder injury.

 

- Interestingly enough, the Big Show will be working two matches on the Binghamton show. He will team with John Cena against the Undertaker & Chris Benoit, then take on Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match.

I hope Ultimo replaces Gunn on TV too. I'd like to see a new Jung Dragons with Ultimo/Noble/Funaki, but I don't see it happening.

Angle's sister passes away

 

Due to the untimely death of Kurt Angle’s sister, Kurt will not be competing at WWE live events this weekend and will be spending time with his family during these challenging times. WWE sends its thoughts and prayers out to Kurt and his family.

We don't have any updates on the injury situation, but Shelton Benjamin is the only wrestler taken off the weekend shows. Now, if you're not confused enough, you will be. In one part of the wwe web site as I'm writing this, they are listing a show for Saturday night at MSG with Angle vs. Show vs. Undertaker vs. Lesnar as the main event. In the live events section, they have a card lisetd as being updated Monday as Lesnar defending against Angle in a cage match, plus Undertaker & Chris Benoit vs. Big Show & A-Train. Charlie Haas will be working singles matches with Billy Kidman. Ultimo Dragon will be doing tag matches with Jamie Noble as his partner. However, we just got word that the main event in MSG will be Lesnar vs. Undertaker for the title in a cage match because Angle will be off the road this weekend to be with his family. I'd like to pay my respects for Kurt Angle's loss. I know the WWE workers don't come to TSM, and much less won't care what an internet fan has to say, but I've been in the position Angle has been in (losing a loved one) too many times in the past year, and I'd like pay my respects.
