So when does Shane get his job back from Kane?

Judging from tonight's continuation of this God damned Kane/Shane abomination, it looks like they're probably setting up Kane/Shane II.

In the set up to Kane/Shane I, Shane FUCKING MCMAHON completely destroyed any chance that Kane ever has of becoming the unstoppable monster by stopping him THREE times.

The absurdity continued with Shane dominating the PPV match and basically winning it (He had Kane down for well over a 10 count) before losing when Kane hit his huge, impossible to kick out of...uhm, roll away. Shane pretty much beat himself.

Rather then just mercy kill this whole mess on that horrible note and pretend that Kane was portrayed as stronger than he was, they have decided to continue this trash and further build up Shane as the virtuous babyface who finally upends Kane.

My question: When does all this bullshit finally end, with Ego McMahon getting his big win back and burying Kane forever? Survivor Series? Do they extend this shit to Mania? Will Shane ever go away?

Shane will win at SurSer. It would be a perfect fit to have him go over Kane there. While Vince goes over UT in a buried alive match. Right there, after years of dominance, the brothers of destruction are brought down by the McMahon family.

Throw in Stephanie going over Sara in a match and we are set.

a sad commentary on wrestling life where the wrestlers themselves are back seated to the Promoter and his family...

nothing new since 99

And after Shane inevitably gets the win back from Kane, how long until the WWE looks to give him the World Title? He's made to look stronger than any potential challenger on Raw not named HHH, the way they're going i wouldn't be shocked to see out second McMahon world champ sooner or later.

Prediction:

WM XX "Dream Match" - HHH vs Shane O'Mac ends in a draw

Most of my crazy predictions don't come true but it wouldn't SHOCK me if HHH vs. Shane is the main event of WMXX. I just see no way in hell someone not related to the McMahon's isn't involved in the main event of the ultimate Vince ego fuck event of the century.

Question: When Kane was laying down and Shane was climbing the ladder, why the hell was the ref not counting to 10? Does the wrestler have to prompt the ref to count the 10 when he desires or what?

I don't think so. I think that was just a case of WWE doing it in the hopes that the fans would be too stupid to catch on.

And don't forget Linda going over Bischoff.
