Shanghai Kid 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2003 Training Camp starts this week and preseason starts in a week and a half. Here's some predictions I'd like to throw out there. Rasheed Wallace will be traded by the deadline. Vince Carter will go down with injury AGAIN. Eastern Conference Playoffs predictions: 1. New Jersey 2. Detroit 3. Indiana. 4. Orlando 5. Philadelphia 6. Chicago 7. Boston 8. Washington. Western Conference predictions: 1. Lakers 2. Dallas 3. San Antonio 4. Minnesota 5. Sacramento 6. Phenoix 7. Houston 8. Portland. NBA Champions: Spurs Eastern Conference Champions: Nets.

Lakers in 7 Finals San Antonio over New Jersey in 7 MVP - Tim Duncan, San Antonio Rookie of the Year - Carmelo Anthony, Denver Most Improved Player - Scot Pollard, Indiana Defensive POTY - Ben Wallace, Detroit Coach of the Year - I can't decide, but it's out of Nate McMillan, Paul Silas and Hubie Brown. 6th Man of the Year - Bobby Jackson, Sacramento Scoring champ - Tracy McGrady Rebounding champ - Ben Wallace Assist champ - Gary Payton Steals champ - Allen Iverson (I'll leave the jokes up to you) Blocks champ - Theo Ratliff All-NBA first team Tim Duncan Kevin Garnett Shaquille O'Neal Tracy McGrady Jason Kidd 2nd team Jermaine O'Neal Dirk Nowitzki Ben Wallace Kobe Bryant (not Kobe hate, just playing with Malone and Payton now won't allow him the stats to make first team) Allen Iverson 3rd team Chris Webber Shawn Marion Yao Ming Paul Pierce Ray Allen (this is my sentimental pick, he doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves. Best two guard in the league aside from T-Mac and Kobe, IMO.) All-defense will probably be the same as last year. All-rookie will be Carmelo, LeBron, Darko and some other guys. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 If Stern has his way, we'll get a Lakers-Knicks series, no matter HOW badly the Knicks suck.
Shanghai Kid 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Knicks shouldn't of acquired Van Horn, that will haunt them even if they get into the playoffs.
Mole 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Cavs. Playoffs. Book it. In 3 years maybe.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Oh here's a prediction: LeBron will disappoint.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 I think LeBron will disapoint but that's kind of obvious. Lebron will have a good season for a rookie but don't expect great numbers until his third or fourth season. My prediction for the finals: Lakers over Pistons in 6.
