The extras on the DVD also push it into the "must buy" category for me, too. Without the extras, I'd probably let it slide w/out getting it, especially considering they're supposed to release a DVD from the 2003 tour ala "Touring Band 2000". Guest drdrainoscott Report post Posted October 1, 2003 I'll definitly be getting it. I was at both MSG shows, and the first night was definitly the best concert I've ever been to. Funny story about that night though - My brother and I arrived at MSG around 5pm, thinking that the doors would be opening around that time since that was when they opened in DC and Atlanta. We found out that the doors didn't open till 7pm, so we decided to explore the area around MSG to kill some time. As we were walking around, I noticed a guy walking around with a video camera following him. I realized that it was the Buzzcock's guitarist and immediatly went over to talk to him. Little did I know that the camera would be shoved in my face when I did so, and it caught me a little off guard. I told him that the Buzzcocks rocked and that I "loved their loudness". So if you see an idiot on the DVD commenting on the volume of their music, that would be me. But it didn't end there. We walked around a little longer, and I noticed that a pair of guys were walking in a door on the side of MSG. My brother and I investigated, and what do you know, it took us right into the lobby of The Garden. (A side note to this - The MSG security should have been ashamed of themselves. I could have been a terrorist and walked right in with a bomb, or a gun, or worse, and took the place down with ease. The second night, when I went through the normal entrance, I still could have brought a gun in. There was absolutly no security, and I am kicking myself for not bringing a video camera to either night.) Anyway, the great advantage of getting there before anyone else was that I was like 10th in line for posters. I bought one, then contemplated buying more since I knew they would be worth something. I decided not to for some reason, while the people in back of me bought ten posters (again, the MSG staff didn't care about the policy of one poster per person). I kicked myself the next day as I looked on ebay and saw the $20 posters going for $300 or more. Anyway, that was my story. Everyone should pick up the DVD as it will not disapoint. Guest The Voices In Your Head Report post Posted October 1, 2003 I can't wait for this! Even if I've heard about half of the tracks on Lost Dogs, I'll still buy it anyways, [plus I won't have to try to track down a copy of the Off He Goes single now] and the DVD sounds great, I can't wait to buy it. I know where I'll be on November 11.
