Fair enough. I don't know much about your life so I wouldn't be able to say.

 

I think this girl's over it. I really wouldn't want to talk with her very much. She's beyond annoying. But, in my defense, the person getting used in the situation would be me. Besides, I think she's just a regular teenager, as I've had the opportunity to hit it back when she was a fun little punk rocker, a thugette, and now a manic-depressive. Didn't do it for the very reasons that I stated here, as my self-respect would probably wane.

DrTom is a smart man, but I'm beginning to think his plans are more sarcastic than he's letting me in on. I mean, the guy seems to have too many morals to actually suggest that stuff.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Use your own judgment, of course. Since you described the girl as annoying (among other things), I'm guessing you're going to pass, which is probably the best decision.

 

And while I might have some (I'm not sure if I have "too many," or if that's possible for anyone to have) morals, I'm not above a meaningless tryst. There are occasions where "if it feels good, do it" is a perfectly valid philosophy. That's tempered by a discerning eye, general pessimism, and quite a bit of experience.

Looking it up, I've realised that I did, but sarcasm is hard to detect over the internet, and I totally didn't realize that there were other people on the board like that, so the joke wasn't as obvious anymore.
