The owener of Mark Out Video pleaded guilty to bootlegging WWE and ROH tapes and could face up to 3 years in jail.

 

Isn't this the guy Justin Baisden was pimping for ROH stuff? I wonder if that had anything to do with it. If it did, I wouldn't be surprised to see charges brought against the guy Jay Doring was pimping last week. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

What the hell is wrong with selling bootleg copies of the WWF Videos, they went out of print a long time ago. If they don't sell them anymore, how the fuck are they losing money?

Umm... it's called copyright infringment. They OWN the footage and they MAY possible use it in the future to make money.

trading tapes is technically illegal also, though i doubt anyone would ever get prosecuted

for it. there is no money being exchanged when people download and share music,

but people are getting in trouble with the law for it.

Tape trading isn't big enough of a problem for anybody to care. It isn't exactly the huge numbers that download music.
