Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2003 While watching today's MLB game and hearing the commentators talk about salaries, a question popped in my head. When pro athletes get paid, do they get checks/direct-deposits bi-weekly or monthly like you and I, or do they get one or two payments a year, or is it just a whole 'nother system entirely? Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2003 The last I read, MLB players get paid every other week. That was several years ago, though, and may very well have changed in the interim. I imagine direct deposit is pretty much required, given the amount of money being handed out, but players with especially high salaries might have their pay go directly toward other investments.
