Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I'm going to a WWF show in a couple of weeks, what's the best way of meeting wrestlers (without scaling walls and jumping security guards!) )?
Guest swan Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Tommy Fierro - Met him through a friend. Not as bad a guy as people think, he is really nice. I talk with him a lot at Indy shows, he is really really cool. You can't be serious?

Find the entrance to where the wrestlers get into the arena and get there as early as you can. Also, try to find out where wrestlers eat and stay before and after the shows. A lot of people usually waiting for wrestlers know where they are, so ask around.

Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Thanks, I'll try Bret's plan first I think!
Guest Perfect_Bo Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Paul White was a bitch, he punch me in the face once, and the judge ruled in his favor because he said that he thought he was in danger... What an ass...
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 As in Paul Wight, The Big Show/Giant? Why did he punch you?

Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Whoa, you must be slow for him to be able to hit you... lol
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Everytime I have gone to see the WWF I have ended up staying in the same hotel as the wrestlers. Last time Vince stayed on the same floor as me.
Guest buffybeast Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Supposedly Vince came to the door naked when a maid stopped by his room to offer a complimentary newspaper. I would have laughed my arse off if that happened to me. Right in his face.
Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I'd probably ask him to prove he's a "genetic jackhammer" just to see his face...
Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I met Balls Mahoney in a mall while I was Christmas shopping last year. Nice guy, he was getting mobbed but still shook hands with everyone and I think even took a few pictures (why someone would bring a camera to a shopping mall escapes me at the moment). I met Test and Jericho at an autograph signing and Test seemed like a nice guy contrary to what I've heard. I guess that just proves the "they have bad days just like everyone else" theory. Or maybe it was just because I was paying $20 to meet him, I don't know....
Guest Singular Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I met Rey Mysterio jr at a tattoo parlor in San Antonio a few years ago. Nice guy. I had no idea who he was until about 10 minutes into our conversation. I asked him a couple questions about his tats and we were talking. I asked him what he did and he said he was a profesional wrestler. Dawned on me then who he was. No autographs or anything. I didn't ask. Just told him I was a fan and to keep on kicken ass. Real down to earth guy.
