Guest Cerebus Report post Posted October 8, 2003 The New York Post scolded Mach Man Randy Savage and his new Album yesterday. Dan Quilante, writer for the Post, wrote that Savage, "defies the laws of physics by blowing and sucking at the same time.” He then adds that his elocution is a slow, thick-tongued lisp. Anyone that surprised?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I'm more surprised the New York post reviewed it. Plus, most people aren't buying it cause Macho can rap. I'll be buying it to laugh at him.

Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Is it just me or didn't Savage leave WWE years ago? 'Oh, but people only read THIS folder, not those other ones'. Whatever. /Barron. UYI

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 You know what would have been REALLY classic... If they had had Savage do this back in 1989 during the build up to WrestleMania 5.

Guest mickberna Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Dan Quilante, writer for the Post, wrote that Savage, "defies the laws of physics by blowing and sucking at the same time.” I hope people wrote to this idiot, not because he didn't like the CD, but because he blatantly ripped off the Simpsons. Nobody should ever get away with using a classic Bart line and mangling it to serve their own dumb purpose.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 I have seen commercials for the CD during WWE shows, mostly Heat and Velocity. The excerpt from "Be A Man" they played was hilarious, and the site of Macho Man sitting in the studio flanked by 4-5 large African American thug/rapper wannabes decreeing that "Hulk Hogan is a real big punk" nearly made me piss my pants laughing. I'd love to see the full video for "Be A Man". They even have a Hogan look-alike and everything. I was planning on downloading this CD, but I'll probably buy it now (maybe waiting until it hits the discount bin; shouldn't take long) just to have the inserts, lyrics, etc. It would make a great addition to my extensive collection of weird wrestling memorabilia. SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 I'd get this album for sheer mockery and such, but I have a feeling that it's going to cost more money than I feel like parting with.
