Tonight's episode was pretty good.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

It will be interesting to see where they go with Clark and Lex, since Lex saw Clark use his powers. Hopefully, they won't just go with the "Lex was insane, so he forgets about it" routine.

Well remember that the doctor said:

The medication will cause him to lose short term memory so he'll forget

I missed that part (switched over to TNA for a minute), so thanks for the info, LPYC. I taped the show, so I'll probably go back and try to pick up anything that I may have missed earlier.

Shouldn't Lex be out of the asylum, though? After all, he WAS being drugged. He wasn't really insane.

Yeah, but:

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Buf if Clark told that Lex was being drugged then Lex would tell his secret. And the doctors are in on drugging him

Yeah, but...

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

I doubt Clark would leave Lex in an asylum for the rest of his life. Clark's actions tonight show that he is very dedicated to Lex. It just seems extremly unfair what happened to Lex.

I have a feeling that Clark will spend the next few episodes trying to get Lex out of there.

I think this will also lead to tensions between Clark and Lex, setting up the Superman/Luthor mutual hate society that has to come later, according to canon. Although...

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

If Lex does emerge from the asylum with no short-term memory, he won't remember enough to blame Clark for abandoning him to that place.

How come spoilers are used?

Courtesy for Canadian viewers, since they seem to be one week behind.

Are we getting new episodes this week and throughout December? Or just reruns until the new year, like Angel?

No episode tonight. They're showing "Josie and the Pussycats." And reruns until probably January 7.

I really loved the episode last week. The only problem I had with it was at the end where Clark saved Lex. After pushing him out of the way, why didn't Clark MOVE to avoid the car? I refuse to believe that there wasn't any time. He's fast as fuck. Lex already shot Edge about 800 times before Clark got there so it's not like he needed to save him. I like how Lex saw Clark use the powers though. Here's where I see them going with it:

Lex's memory of that day is cloudy with him being drugged and his short-term memory being shot. He doesn't fully forget though. It's always in the back of his mind and now he makes an effort to be more observent of Clark perhaps even going as far as to spy on him. Lex will never find out the truth, but eventually Clark will find out that he's spying on him and that will end their friendship

I still don't get why City gets Smallville a week late.. especially when their 'sister station' VR gets Angel [another WB show] right on time. Very wierd.

Oh well. This/last weeks episode rocked. Insane Lex is a good good thing. I also love the fact that they used some CASH ["hurt"] in the shows soundtrack too! ;)

Ohh...that sucks.

Here in Montreal...I get it three times on Wednesday night

8pm on WB

10pm on Fox 44 (Montreal affiliate)

11pm on WB #2 (3 hours later due to channel being from California)

I can't miss it! (and no I don't have a satellite dish)

So if u have these...don't wait for CityTV

FYI:

Asylum (BRAND NEW EPISODE)

Lex schemes to lure Clark to the hospital by teaming up with three krypto-villians after Lionel requests electroshock to erase Lex's memory. Meanwhile, Lana's love for Clark is tested when she meets a stranger in the hospital.

Us Canucks don't get it until the 20th, though.

I hope that the guy Lana falls for doesn't go like it always does. You know, Lana meets a boy, Clark doesn't trust him and then finds out why, Clarks tells Lana about but, Lana doesn't believe Clark and thinks he's jealous, EVEN THOU HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT ABOUT THEM, boy tries to kill Lana and Clark saves her and they talk. Repeat.

I swear Lana is dumb whenever Clark tells her the boy, new friend, whatever she's seeing is trouble.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Apparently, the new character that Lana falls for is not a meteor freak or a villain just yet.

I guess I'll use spoiler tags, since some parts of Canada won't get this episode until next week.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

I kinda like the guest appearances by villains from previous episodes.

EDIT: Eh, Van (the sniper guy) just got whacked by Jonathan Taylor Thomas and his twin.

And the psychiatrist got whacked by Lionel Luthor.

That preview was wrong.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Only TWO of the villains were Krypto-freaks (unless you count both Ian Randals). And Lex didn't team up with any of them. He tried to save Clark even though he knew his secret.

Yeah I noticed that too. That's weird.

BTW, Smallville's "Line of the Night..."

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

"Well, if it isn't Klu Klux Van."
