This commercial creeps me out

Recommended Posts

It's the one for new Lays Stacks. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean. Just the look on the ugly woman's face plus the way she talked, it just...*shudders*.

The commercial that I find somewhat unsettling is the MCI (or is that Sprint?) commercial where all of a sudden dozens of young boys in striped shirts appear from seemingly nowhere.

It has a vague "Village of the Damned" vibe to it.

So that's Dana Carvey? Oh well, it's still creepy.

Here's another commercial question: Have you noticed that that "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" song is in two different commercials? What's up with that?

Guest Agent of Oblivion

Remember the Duracell battery people?

Those things fuck with me.

But that other Spring commerical is much better, with the hot blonde at the diner and her phone-camera, and the sloppy dude making a mess.

"Here's your new boyfriend, don't you just love your new boyfriend?"

"I do love my new boyfriend."

I love that commercial.

However, there's the one commercial with the Walkie phones where they're using those to act out Romeo and Juliet. That commercial is just fucked up.

Also, for some reason, all of the "Zoom zoom" commercials (Nissan, I think) drive me up the wall.

Those Orbitz commercials with the marionette puppets give me nightmares.

If you're talking about the Orbitz gum commercials...*shudder*...those are just plain weird and scary.
