alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 82 points last night. And yes, I also picked Q-Rich. 11/26 PG: Baron Davis SG: Jason Terry SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Vin Baker C: Ben Wallace Coach: Gregg Popovich
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 93 pts and once again, I too had Q-Rich. My 11/26 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Jason Terry SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Kurt Thomas C: Yao Ming Coach: Jim O'Brien
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 119 points, back over 100 VGM's. Again i move up a little worldwide, but can't make any ground in the group, still in 10th. 11/27 lineup, though with NJ/LAC and NY/IND the only games i expect many similar lineups: PG- Jason Kidd SG- Allan Houston (this may very well change to Q-Rich once i find out more about his injury) SF- Ron Artest PF- Kenyon Martin C- Jermaine O'Neal (again, this depends on his status, though with Drobnjak the next best choice i think i'll take my chances) Coach- Rick Carlisle
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 109 pts despite the 1 VGM from Ronald Murray. 11/27 PG: Jason Kidd SG: Allan Houston SF: Ron Artest PF: Kenyon Martin C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Rick Carlisle
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 119 points, despite only 9 VGMs from Jason Terry (I picked him because of his 47% shooting percentage, so of course he shoots 5-17). I got 61 from Garnett and Baker. 11/28: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Michael Redd SF: Ron Artest PF: Zach Randolph (I debated going with Walker seeing that Nowitzki is out, but I see no reason Zach shouldn't dominate against the Nets) C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Don Nelson
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 112 VGM's despite a crap day from Steve Francis, good enough to move me into a tie for 9th with HarleyQuinn, and i'm only 3 VGM's behind 8th place. 11/28: PG- Chauncey Billups SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim (other options are tempting, but Shareef's been going strong, he's put up numbers on much better teams than Miami) PF- Zach Randolph C- Ben Wallace Coach- Larry Brown
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 104 points last night. 11/29: PG: Baron Davis SG: Ronald Murray SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Tim Duncan C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach: Randy Ayers
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 11/29: PG- Baron Davis SG- Emanuel Ginobili SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Tim Duncan C- Pedrag Drobnjak Coach- Gregg Popovich I have my concerns about using Drobnjak at C, he's put up some good games, but some duds as well. I'll take the chance though, players like Greg Ostertag and Dan Gadzuric have been the top scoring centers before so you never know.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 130 points Friday, 105 last night. lineup for tonight: PG: Gary Payton SG: Kerry Kittles SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Jeff Foster C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Adelman About 23 points left over from that one. Tomorrow's lineup: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Manu Ginobili SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Tim Duncan C: Tyson Chandler Coach: Rick Carlisle
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 130 Friday, 103 last night. 12/1 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Michael Redd SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Tim Duncan C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Scott Skiles
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 85 points last night, my worst day in a long time as my Drobnjak gamble blows up in my face, scoring -1 points. Baron Davis' 8 VGM's didn't help matter much either. What annoys me more though was the day before. 130 VGM's seems good right? Well when choosing my team i figured at least one Piston guard would smoke the shitty Cavs, so i was either going to go with Billups, McGrady & Wallace, or Kidd, Hamilton and Miller, with Abdur-Rahim & Randolph the other positions. Of course i choose the Billups group, and he goes and scores -3 points. Meanwhile Hamilton gets 45 VGM's and along with Kidd, Miller, Randolph and Abdur-Rahim makes up the days best for 194 VGM's. Ugh, so close to getting that massive total. 11/30th team: PG- Gary Payton SG- Kobe Bryant SF- Predrag Stojakovic PF- Kenyon Martin C- Brad Miller Coach- Gregg Popovich (evidently i forgot to change this position, which i just discovered now. Thankfully it's just the coach and not one of the other positions i screwed up) 12/1: PG- Jason Kidd SG- Richard Hamilton (when i didn't pick him he went massive, what's the bet now that i do pick him he does jack shit) SF- Andrei Kirilenko PF- Tim Duncan C- Tyson Chandler Coach- Gregg Popovich
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 77 points last night, including a grand total of 10 from Kittles and Foster. Whatever the next day is: PG: Baron Davis SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF: Antoine Walker C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach: Don Nelson
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 My god, i'm looking at a pathetic 39 VGM's right now. Bitch Hamilton gets 1 VGM, Duncan was suspended, evidently Tyson Chandler is out and i forgot or something, ugh. 12/2: PG- Baron Davis SG- Michael Redd SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF- Antoine Walker C- Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach- Don Nelson
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 Well, I had 48 VGMs, not knowing Duncan and Chandler were out, and getting a grand total of 15 from Kidd and Ginobili. And I ALMOST picked Artest again, who sat out with back spasms.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 12/3: PG: Baron Davis SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Pau Gasol PF: Vin Baker C: Ben Wallace Coach: Larry Brown
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 I managed 103 even with TD sitting thanks to Jermaine O'Neal's huge 38 VGM's. 12/3 PG: Baron Davis SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Erick Dampier Coach: Jeff Van Gundy
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 Well, in one day i've pretty much undone over a week of climbing the ladder, down to 13th in the group. 12/3: PG- Baron Davis SG- Richard Hamilton (i'm hesitant to pick him after he burned me today, but hell, I could probably get 20+ VGM's at home against Miami. With several other good options available i'm probably being stupid, but i can never resist a gamble every now and then) SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Zach Randolph C- Yao Ming Coach- Larry Brown
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2003 101 points last night. Not sure how many Baron Davis had, but he was 1-10 on threes, so it can't be pretty. Two games tomorrow (Chi @ Phi and LAL @ Dal) so a lot of similar lineups. Due to injuries, your available centers are *drumroll* Shaq, Shawn Bradley, and Amal McCaskill. 12/4: PG: Gary Payton SG: Michael Finley SF: Glenn Robinson PF: Antoine Walker C: Shaquille O'Neal Coach: Randy Ayers
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2003 SF: Glenn Robinson Big Dog is still on the injured list isn't he? Unless you've heard something i haven't. 12/4: PG- Jamal Crawford SG- Allen Iverson SF- Dirk Nowitzki PF- Kenny Thomas C- Shaquille O'Neal Coach- Randy Ayers
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2003 Well he wasn't on the injured list according to them when I picked him. Fags. Well now it's too fucking late to change him anyway. Anyway Dirk is also hurt I believe, so you're fucked too. We should hack them. 12/5: PG: Mike Bibby SG: Eddie Jones SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Maurice Cheeks
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2003 Dirk not playing + Kenny Thomas' -1 points = not a good day. After 3 weeks ranging from good to great i'm certainly going down the shitter this week. December 6th team: PG- Baron Davis SG- Jason Terry SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim (he's gone great every time i've chosen him, and i'll be shocked if he can't rack up numbers against the Cavs) PF- Tim Duncan (he should massacre Miami, though last time i thought that he ended up not playing. Hopefully things work out this time) C- Erick Dampier Coach- Gregg Popovich
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2003 94 last night. Whatever the next day is PG: Baron Davis SG: Tracy McGrady SF: LeBron James PF: Antoine Walker C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach: Don Nelson
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2003 Very poor 77 points last night considering my solid week so far. 12/6 Lineup PG: Baron Davis SG: Michael Redd SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF: Antoine Walker C: Ben Wallace Coach: Don Nelson
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2003 FUCK MIKE BIBBY AND EDDIE JONES. A combined 12-39 shooting and 15 VGMs. KG and JO go for 79 between the two of them, and I only end up with 118 because for my sorry ass backcourt performance. Randolph only had 15 himself, but I'll forgive him...he had to slide to mortality for a night or so. 12/7: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Brent Barry SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Vin Baker C: Shaquille O'Neal Coach: Jeff Bzdelik
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2003 A VERY nice rebound last night after my 77 point night prior. 153 points mainly behind KG's 48, Miller's 33 and fucking VIN BAKER's 29! BD had a somewhat off night with only 18 VGM's but it's all good. 12/7 Lineup PG: Mike Bibby SG: Vince Carter SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Phil Jackson
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2003 A Kidd triple-double and good games from Vince Carter and Jermaine O'Neal had me looking good, but Kirilenko and Randolph had pretty average days, leaving me to slip down a little more. Kirilenko has the 2nd best average VGM's among Small Forwards, yet whenever i've chosen him he's been crap. 12/7: PG- Andre Miller SG- Kobe Bryant SF- Kevin Garnett (i doubt i'll be choosing many other SF's other than KG, Abdur-Rahim & Peja from now on) PF- Zach Randolph C- Brad Miller Coach- Flip Saunders
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 124 points last night behind Shareef blowing up for 43 VGM's and Antoine pulling out a surprising 32 VGM's. My 12/8 Lineup PG: Baron Davis SG: Michael Redd SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Tim Duncan C: Greg Ostertag Coach: Tim Floyd
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Again Abdur-Rahim does great when i pick him, averaging 34.2 VGM's for me, however my opposite trend with Baron Davis continues. Every time i pick him he has the shittiest FG% and it's killing me. 117 VGM's, enough to move up a whopping 3 places worldwide. 12/8: PG- Stephon Marbury (Baron and his crap shooting can fuck off) SG- Michael Redd SF- Shawn Marion PF- Tim Duncan C- Jamaal Magloire (any day when Greg fucking Ostertag has the highest average VGM's out of available players scares me) Coach- Tim Floyd
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 98 points last night, as I had solid nights from Z and Walker, but had the horrid shooting trio of Davis, McGrady, and LeBron to hold me down. I've dropped all the way down to the 96.8 percentile. 12/8: PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Michael Redd SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Tim Duncan C: Greg Ostertag Coach: Jerry Sloan Who'd have thunk I'd pick TWO Utah Jazz players AND their coach on my team this season? alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2003 122 last night...any reason Vin Baker only played 14 minutes last night? Was he hurt/ejected/? 12/9: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Allan Houston (at the Lakers, where he had 53 in a game last year) SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Carlisle
