HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2003 Continuing my great week by getting 140 pts last night. KG, Randolph & Miller all dropped 30+ VGM's and VC chipped in with 24. 12/9 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Allen Iverson SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Adelman
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2003 122 last night...any reason Vin Baker only played 14 minutes last night? Was he hurt/ejected/? Evidently he had "flu-like symptoms" in the 2nd half that kept him out. 133 points, only Kobe and his 23% shooting holding me back. You'd think if you were shooting that bad you'd eventually stop throwing up the fucking ball, especially when you have Payton, Malone and Shaq to pass to. I'm just glad this last week is over, time to start anew, hopefully with no 39 VGM games this week. 12/9: PG- Stephon Marbury SG- Vince Carter SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF- Kenyon Martin C- Brad Miller Coach- Phil Jackson Probably the first time i haven't had at least one of Garnett & Randolph when they've been available. HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 Piss poor 80 pts last night...fucking you Michael Redd and Andrei Kirilenko 12/10 Lineup PG: Steve Nash SG: Jason Terry SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF: Zach Randolph C: Erick Dampier Coach: Don Nelson
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 A very nice 123 VGM's, though if i had stuck with Ginobili instead of picking Michael Redd i would have ended with 149. Redd sucks dick whenever i choose him, he's now officially on my boycot list with Andrei Kirilenko, Richard Hamilton and Baron Davis. Fuck them, they aren't shitting things up for me anymore, though Kirilenko's only a temporary boycot. The damage from last week's already undone, up to my equal highest point of 92.5%, though i remain down in 14th. Lets see if we can change that. 12/10: PG- Steve Nash SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF- Kurt Thomas (i really should stick with a good thing in Randolph, but Thomas was my first thought, and i'm going to stick with my instincts more from now on) C- Erick Dampier Coach- Don Nelson
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 Well, I had 79 last night, having picked Kirilenko and Redd. 12/10: PG: Steve Nash SG: Michael Redd (I'll be nice and give him a chance at redemption) SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF: Tim Duncan C: Erick Dampier Coach: Hubie Brown
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 (edited) Bullshit 31 people chose Jacque Vaughn & Nazr Mohammed. Must have been either a bunch of psychics or Hawks fans, and i didn't think Atlanta had fans. Just 107 points thanks to Starbury's dud, and again i just can't manage to climb up past the point i'm at. 12/11: PG- Chauncey Billups SG- Emanuel Ginobili SF- Shawn Marion PF- Tim Duncan C- Yao Ming Coach- Tim Floyd Edited December 10, 2003 by Cuban_Linx
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 115 pts last night even with AI not playing. Not bad I say... 12/11 Lineup PG: Baron Davis SG: Emanuel Ginobili SF: Shawn Marion PF: Carlos Boozer C: Ben Wallace Coach: Larry Brown
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 Bullshit 31 people chose Jacque Vaughn & Nazr Mohammed. Heh, that's what I was thinking too. I had 112 last night, despite Houston not playing. Next lineup: PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Manu Ginobili SF: Tayshaun Prince (I badly wanted Marion here, seeing that Stoudemire is out, but I wanted to keep Duncan and Wallace in my lineup. So it was either him or Joe Johnson.) PF: Tim Duncan C: Ben Wallace Coach: Larry Brown
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 Horrible 64 points last night, Steve Nash got me 1...UGH. Everyone else had subpar games. 12/12 Lineup PG: Baron Davis SG: Jason Terry SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Vin Baker C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Carlisle
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 58 VGM's, jesus christ. As usual my guards led the way, Nash with 1 VGM and J-Rich with -2. I'm tempted to go back to the likes of Baron Davis, he shoots like shit, but he'll at least get around 10 or so VGM's, it seems any other guard i choose never reaches double-digits. 12/12: PG- Jamal Crawford SG- Vince Carter SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Kenyon Martin C- Brad Miller Coach- Rick Carlisle
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 I ended up with 87, as I also went with Nash. Shareef finally decided to have an off-night as well, only getting 15, compared to the 30-something nights he's been having. next day: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Michael Finley SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Vin Baker C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Carlisle
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2003 122 VGM's last night even w/o the bonus, very happy about that 12/13 PG: Gary Payton SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Shareef Adbur-Rahim PF: Kenyon Martin C: Yao Ming Coach: Jeff Bzdelik
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2003 98 VGM's, Shawn Marion saving my ass with 38 VGM's while everyone else does jack. It seems the more the season goes on the more i suck. 12/13: PG- Stephon Marbury SG- Jason Terry SF- Paul Pierce (plenty of good options at SF, which means they'll all go great except for Pierce) PF- Carlos Boozer C- Shaquille O'Neal Coach- Mike Dunleavy
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2003 107 VGM's last night despite Miller's poor 8 VGM's 12/14 Lineup PG: Mike Bibby SG: Vince Carter SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Kurt Thomas C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Adelman
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 120 VGM's due to Garnett, Carter & K-Mart all going above 30 VGM's. 12/14: PG- Mike Bibby SG- Vince Carter SF- Andrei Kirilenko PF- Chris Bosh C- Brad Miller Coach- Rick Adelman
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 A fantastic day, 153 VGM's, Starbury with 34, Paul Pierce with 43, Shaq with 28 & Carlos Boozer getting 30 VGM's. Safe to say i've forgiven Marbury for the recent shit games he's been giving me. Up to 93%, the highest i've been since day 1. Still only 13th in the group, but i'm gaining fast on the next group of 4 or 5. 12/15: PG- Sam Cassell SG- Emanuel Ginobili SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Carlos Boozer C- Jermaine O'Neal Coach- Tim Floyd Also for the 14th i've changed Bibby to Marbury, may as well stick with the hot hand, and i don't really trust Bibby anyway. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 130 points last night. I'm slowly climbing back up in the rankings, back up to 96.8% now. next day: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Ronald Murray SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF: Tim Duncan C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Eric Musselman
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 131 VGM's last night thanks to Randolph's 42 VGM's, KG's 31 and Camby's 29 12/18 Lineup PG: Baron Davis SG: David Wesley SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Antoine Walker C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Adelman
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 (edited) Back-to-back days of 120 and 136 VGM's move me into the top 10,000 for the first time since day 1, though i slip a spot in the group to 11th. 12/17: PG- Jason Kidd SG- Quentin Richardson SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF- Tim Duncan C- Yao Ming Coach- Rick Carlisle 12/18: PG- Sam Cassell SG- Anfernee Hardaway (i don't know, i'm in the mood for a risk. Besides, all the options at SG suck anyway) SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Zach Randolph C- Brad Miller Coach- Rick Adelman Edited December 17, 2003 by Cuban_Linx
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 Damn dude, you were right, tough choosin's in the SG. Finley's a ? due to an injury. 129 last night despite only 8 from Yao and my coach losing AGAIN. 12/18: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Fred Hoiberg SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zack Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Maurice Cheeks
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 My second best day ever, 162 VGM's. KG and Miller both topping 40 VGM's, as well as 35 from Randolph. I even got decent production from Anfernee Hardaway, i thought the old Penny might be back for a day when he had 15 VGM's in like 7 minutes, but 16 VGM's from a guy averaging under 10 ain't bad. 12/19: PG- Earl Watson (anyone can put up numbers on Miami, i just hope J-Will is still too hurt to play for at least this game) SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Predrag Stojakovic PF- Tim Duncan C- Brad Miller Coach- Rick Adelman 12/20: PG- Sam Cassell (considering Sam's one of very few consistently good PG's i don't know why i only chose him once before this week) SG- Jason Terry SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Carlos Boozer (up against a Chandler and Curry-less Bulls, there's no reason Boozer shouldn't stomp the crap out of Chicago) C- Yao Ming Coach- Don Nelson
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2003 You made out pretty good, I got a whopping 1 from Fred Hoiberg. I had 121 last night, and close to the same the night before. Tonight's lineup: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Ronald Murray SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Tim Duncan C: Marcus Camby Coach: Don Nelson Tomorrow: PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Zach Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Phil Jackson
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2003 Last night, 125 VGM's despite Bibby doing not much for me(9 VGM's). The 35 and 37 from T-Mac and Kenyon along with Brad's 26 really saved me though. The night prior I had 118 thanks to Wesley's crap 5 VGM's. 12/19 PG: Andre Miller SG: Michael Finley SF: Shareef-Abdhur Rahim PF: Tim Duncan C: Yao Ming Coach: Hubie Brown(I'll take the risk) 12/20 PG: Mike Bibby SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Karl Malone C: Brad Miller Coach: Rick Adelman
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2003 Another great day yesterday, 156 VGM's. After a pretty crappy week or two i've really strung some big scores together this week, up to 94.8% and 8th in the group. Although today it looks like i'm going to go pretty bad, i guess there was a reason for Boozer to suck against Chicago, the fact that Cleveland sucks dick. 12/21: PG- Carlos Arroyo SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Paul Pierce PF- Zach Randolph C- Shaquille O'Neal Coach- Eric Musselman
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2003 125 last night, as Camby SHOCKINGLY got injured and ended up with 6 VGMs. Not much to choose from on 12/22: PG: Andre Miller SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Drew Gooden C: Marc Jackson Coach: Jerry Sloan
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2003 C: Marc Jackson I'd change Jackson, he's been out with a finger injury all month. No idea why Philly refuse to put him on IL. 12/22: PG- Jamal Crawford SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Andrei Kirilenko PF- Nene C- Greg Ostertag (terrible options at C, an injured Jackson, Lorenzen Wright's unpredictable playing time and Mr. Glass Marcus Camby, when Ostertag's the best option you know things are bad) Coach- Johnny Davis
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 I changed him to Ostertag. 139 points last night, my most solid night in terms of individual performances I've had in a while. All my guys had at least 22 VGMs. 12/23: PG: Sam Cassell SG: Michael Redd (almost went with Wade, but his FG% made me shy away. Plus Redd has like half the TOs.) SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Zach Randolph C: Brad Miller Coach: Flip Saunders
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 117 VGM's led by Pierce's 35, an average day to end the week. I slip a little worldwide, but remain 8th in the group and at 94.7% 12/23: PG- Sam Cassell SG- Dwayne Wade SF- Kevin Garnett (saw KG against the Knicks and didn't bother scrolling down any further) PF- Zach Randolph C- Brad Miller Coach- Flip Saunders
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 99 points last night. No games tomorrow, meaning an extra day to decide who we want in our lineups for: CHRISTMAS DAY~! Games: CLE @ ORL DAL @ SAC HOU @ LAL Here's my lineup: PG: Mike Bibby SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Peja Stojakovic (LeBron's been hot lately, but is still a TO and FG% risk, much like Wade yesterday. I can trust Peja for about 30-some VGMs, especially against Dallas.) PF: Carlos Boozer C: Brad Miller Coach: Phil Jackson
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 It's a rare day you can score just 90 VGM's and still move up in the world. 12/2412/25: PG- Gary Payton SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Predrag Stojakovic PF- Carlos Boozer C- Brad Miller Coach- Rick Adelman
