I have no problems with sending players to whatever team they choose to be sent to, except that I will have to negotiate the deals myself, as to which players your former team will get in exchange for you.

20-25 HRs shouldn't be a problem for either of you, but James should have a more considerable amount of homeruns by the end of the season compared to your total.

Considering my HR is 9 for fucking excellent, I don't think that's possible. If I could just get my strikeout zone better, then I'd be rocking the place, as I'd get a ton of walks, steals, and hits. Do you walk him and then let him steal a base (to which he'll score)? Or do you let him hit and hope a pop out?

 

Actually Duran, I don't think James is a one season wonder. If you check my stats from every year, I've been on a statistical climb ever since year one. It's been long time coming, and probably means I'll peak around year 34-35. So I expect to be awesome for awhile.

 

Oh and hopefully I go hitting after Hunter. I'd score even more RBIs that way.

Mike Van Siclen on fire, hits for cycle

 

HOUSTON - Mike Van Siclen is a pretty good hitter, but his 4 hit performance seemed to surprise even himself considering that the hits added up to the cycle, one of the most difficult feats to accomplish in baseball. His 1st hit, off Paul Wofford in the 2nd inning, was a two-run homerun and cleared the fence in left-center. His 2nd hit was a RBI triple off Hector Ayala in the 3rd inning. A pitch from Hector Ayala in the 5th inning left his bat for a double. A single in the 8th off Marion Blaker accounted for his fourth hit. That drive completed the cycle as Van Siclen had a bright smile on his face! Mike brought in 3 runs while scoring 2 runs on his own. He is hitting .302 this season, with 13 homeruns and 41 runs batted in. On May 28th, 2015, Harry Clingenpeel was the last player to hit at least a single, double, triple, and a homerun in a single game.

 

Marvin Jenkins (NY) will miss 5 weeks

 

NEW YORK - When it rains, it pours. New York's ace Marvin Jenkins will not pitch for at least 5 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Los Angeles where he left the field in the 1st inning. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed him with a pulled tricep muscle which will require surgery. In 14 starts this year Marvin struck out 55 batters in 91.1 innings of work. His ERA is 3.55, his record 8-2. He has one complete game and one shutout. He's 9th in the East-West in ERA and 1st in wins!

The North-South Player of the Week award goes to Winston Ghandi, Jacksonville's starting shortstop. Winston was on fire, hitting .571 with 1 HR and 11 RBI. Winston managed to drive in at least one run in every game he played this week.

Notes: I can't say I didn't see this coming. In his first month with the Las Vegas Jokers, batting in the #5 spot two spots behind Edward James, David Hunter had a terrible outing, in what can only be described as growing pains, though that appears to be an excuse more than a diagnosis.

 

After being plagued with injuries and other problems in the first two months, DeSantis seems ready to turn the beat around with a promising June. Logan Caldwell is also looking to get back on the right track, trying to channel that energy that he had in 2013 and yet somehow lost in 2014.

 

With the pitchers, Eric LeBeau's win-loss record is on the upswing, and Peter Kostka continues to prove critics wrong as the second best pitcher among TSM players. Marvin Jenkins' injury will hurt him in the long run, but he still looks to be a solid pitcher. Meanwhile, Ann Onita will be hoping that the second half will be much kinder to her as she is looking hot going into the All-Star Break.

Help with the other two:

 

For the Jokers, what I envisioned for a logo but didn't have the talent to create would be something like the Joker's head (in your logo) in front of a spread out "fan" of cards, like a poker hand. This covers both the Las Vegas and Jokers part of the name, you see?

 

As for the Ignition, I'm not quite sure what that symbol is above "IGNITION," but you've got the right idea on the lettering. I think it could use either a brighter or darker background, perhaps.

 

Good work so far, though, I'm loving this.
