Yes, I know it has to do with Orca Bay (who owned the Canucks at the time) but seriously what if every team starting basing their symbols around the corporation that owns them. The company is called Orca Bay Entertainment because presumably you can see orcas outside of Vancouver. But the orcas on the uni, as Brush With Greatness mentioned, is meant to reflect the company that owns it. It would be like the Red Wings replacing the wheel with a pizza...
